🎨 Van Gogh's last landscape, Auvers-sur-Oise

About an hour by train from Paris, we arrived at the quiet rural village of Auvers-sur-Oise. This is the village where Vincent van Gogh spent the last days of his life, and his traces remain everywhere. From L’Auberge Ravoux, where he stayed, to the Auvers Church that appeared in his paintings, and one of his last works, a wheat field. It was fun to walk around while comparing the paintings to the actual scenery, and the entire village looked like a watercolor painting. There aren’t many people, and it’s a great place to take a leisurely walk, so it’s the perfect travel destination when you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Paris and spend a quiet day.
