Visiting Zhongshan Park in Vancouver | The first Suzhou-style garden overseas

⛲️There are many Zhongshan Parks in China, but the first Su-style garden overseas is actually the Zhongshan Park in Vancouver! ☝️ Zhongshan Park is close to Vancouver Chinatown and opened in 1986 to commemorate Dr. Sun Yat-sen. Figure 3️⃣ The plaque in Zhongshan Park was written by Soong Ching Ling. ⛲️The park is built in the style of a Suzhou garden, with pavilions, river pools, Taihu rocks, and plum, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum planted to promote Chinese culture. During festivals, it is also a venue for national cultural activities.
