Mount Wutai indeed has a thriving incense burning tradition, with crowds of people that truly astonish

My first visit to Mount Wutai was not easy to arrange, with inconvenient transportation and unreliable rideshare drivers. With a devout heart, I offered my prayers, climbed the 1080 steps to the Dai Lao Top, and prayed for blessings for my family, friends, and myself. I had thought there wouldn't be many believers or tourists, but to my surprise, the crowd was overwhelming, and the incense burning at Wuye Temple was especially prosperous. Other temples like Tayuan Temple, Shuxiang Temple, and Xiantong Temple also had a lot of incense burning. Besides praying and burning incense, it was quite physically demanding.
