The Heavenly Lake of Xi'an

Cuihua Mountain is in the northern part of the Qinling Mountains, 20 km (12 miles) from downtown Xi'an. As a part of Zhongnanshan National Forest Park, Cuihua Mountain has been recommended as one of the top ten attractions in Xi'an since 1997. Getting there: Cui Hua mountain sits just 40-minutes south of Xi'an city. You can get a taxi for about 130 RMB one way, or hop on the local bus from the subway stop Wei Qu Nan. The mountain has a beautiful lake called 'Heavenly Lake' where you can walk around it and take stunning photographs. A real visual treat. There is a motorised car that can take you to the mountain spot from the entrance. The park is quite big and it's worth spending the majority of a day.
