The temple faces south and is 16.97 meters long from north to south and 15.32 meters wide from east to west, covering an area of ​​about 255 square meters. It was founded in the first year of the reign of Emperor Qianning of the Tang Dynasty (894) and was renovated from the Tang Dynasty to the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Now only the main hall and the offering hall remain, of which the main hall was built in the Yuan Dynasty. The Xian Hall was built in the 26th year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty (1598). The main hall is five bays wide and six rafters deep, with a single-eaved hip roof. The beam structure consists of four rafters against a front rafter, and three columns for the entire eaves. The capitals of the eaves columns have five-layer brackets with double lower ang, and the ang mouth is in the shape of a qin. The head of the main room is in the shape of ang, and there are no brackets in the supplementary room. The eaves columns are thick and the capitals are obviously rolled. The offering hall is five bays wide and three rafters deep, with a curved roof and tiled roof. The rear eaves are connected to the main hall, with two columns supporting the entire eaves and no brackets. The beams are simple, with a distinct Ming Dynasty local style. In 2013, the Zhaozewang Temple in Xiangyuan was approved by the State Council and listed as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
