Summer is all about playing in the water | The number one rafting experience in central Guizhou! The closest rafting to Guiyang

Guiyang has many choices for rafting in the summer, but the one I personally go to the most is Taoyuan River, which is very close to Guiyang city center, just a 1-hour drive, and it's really fun and exciting! Preparation before rafting: ✅Personal: Sunscreen, sun protection clothing, sun hat, slippers, change of clothes and underwear, towel, shower supplies. ✅Equipment: Waterproof phone bag, water scoop, water gun (very necessary for water fights haha) ‼️‼️‼️Note, because rafting is almost always under the sun🌞, to avoid sunburn, be sure to use sunscreen, you can wear a swimsuit and then put on a sun protection jacket. I'm afraid of getting tanned, so I wore long sleeves, long pants + sun hat. ⛰️The total length of the rafting course is about 9 kilometers, and the rapids or sloped areas are really exciting! When you get tired, you can rest by the side, and sometimes when there are a lot of people, there will be water fights, which are really fun! (The water scoop and water gun are very useful at this time haha) About halfway through, you'll reach the Magic Cave, and after the boat enters, it will pass through a dark cave, which is also very thrilling! The whole journey takes less than two hours to raft to the end, walk a bit to the washing area, first go to get your stored luggage according to your wristband, there are communal showers without curtains, and you might need to wait for a turn when it's crowded. 📝Besides rafting, Taoyuan River also offers BBQ and tea roasting around a stove, we went to the reserved place for a BBQ after rafting, the BBQ area is in a very Chinese-style courtyard, with a wide variety of fresh ingredients~ 👏🏻👏🏻After rafting or if you don't want to raft, you can play on the shore for a while, the viewing platform offers a stunning view of the three thunderous waterfalls, it's super photogenic! There's also a pink sand beach, pet paradise, real-life CS, etc., which are great for team building or taking kids to play~ 🎫Ticket price: 188 RMB per person on weekdays, 220 RMB per person on weekends ⏰Recommended visiting time: June to October, we left Guiyang at 11 am, arrived after 12 pm, by then the water temperature was warm, and it wasn't too cold to play~
