Tainan Xuejia District ｜ Laotanghu Art Village

Laotanghu Art Village is like going back to the ancient fortress of 300 years ago. It is more like a popular Instagram check-in spot like a scene from a martial arts movie. It was originally just a fish pond in Xijia, Tainan, rather than a historical relic. Painter Kuang Yi used his own way and gathered materials from more than a hundred old houses to build the current "Laotanghu Art Village" bit by bit. It is more like a large-scale art work than a tourist attraction! The entire Laotanghu Art Village is a circular fortress with a small island in the middle of the lake. You can walk across the wooden bridge or take a human-powered raft to the island and experience the feeling of pure human power without electricity.
