The boatman's singing and narration were also pleasant, and it was an emotional experience that went beyond sightseeing. Along the river, there are white-walled buildings with a sense of history and charming bridges, and there are photogenic views everywhere. The scenery reflected on the river's surface and the calm space created by the sound of the water helped me forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Yanagawa is also famous for its eels. The steamed eel I had during a stroll was fragrant and delicious. I think the charm of Yanagawa is that you can enjoy the beautiful scenery as well as the taste.
