Alpine plants of the Japanese Alps

Nagano Prefecture, Japan Alps This is a beautiful place, with moss-covered areas, streams, and small flowers. Because it's in the mountains, the roads are rough until you get there, so it's best to go by car with a confident driver or by bus. The temperature is low and the wind feels good and refreshing. At the foot of the mountain, there are mountain huts for accommodation and rest, farms where you can pick blueberries, and a morning market selling vegetables. On the mountain path, I was surprised to encounter people walking and carrying fruit to mountain huts even higher in altitude.
