💘In all the temples around the world, love is seldom the theme, yet the Pujiu Temple in Yongji City, Shanxi Province, is an exception. For thousands of years, Pujiu Temple has been famous for the love story of Zhang Sheng and Cui Yingying. 🛕The stupa within the temple, due to the age-old story of Zhang Sheng and Cui Yingying, has been renamed 'Yingying Pagoda'. The original pagoda was built during the Tang Dynasty, destroyed by an earthquake, and the existing one was rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty. It is a dense-eave style square brick pagoda, standing 40 meters tall, with a dignified and imposing appearance.
