Yu Wang Pavilion

Yu Wang Pavilion is an ancient relic left by Dayu's water control, and it is also a Longshan culture site. Yu Wang Pavilion was first built in the Tang Dynasty, and was expanded and repaired by later dynasties. It was rebuilt as Yu Ji Pavilion in the Ming Dynasty, and was recorded by Hanlin Liu Shiji in 'Yu Ji Pavilion Record'. In the 50th year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, it was renamed Yu Wang Pavilion, and was later destroyed in the war. In 1996, Yucheng City rebuilt Yu Wang Pavilion. The current Yu Wang Pavilion Park is built with Yu Wang Pavilion and Yu Wang Hall as the central axis, with Qing-style buildings as the main body, accompanied by side halls, hall doors, mountain gates, etc., and there are also buildings and facilities such as celebrity calligraphy and painting, stone carvings, and exhibition rooms. Among them, the Juqiu Mountain site located behind the hall, an octagonal double-eave double-row column pavilion is built on the mountain. According to the old records: More than 4,000 years ago, when Dayu controlled the water, he was on this Juqiu Mountain, looking far away, observing the water situation, and 'Juqiu Mountain' was named for this. The museum integrates ancient buildings, lakes, and gardens into one, becoming an education base for commemorating the ancient style and inspiring future generations.
