A Trip to Wai Lingding Island, Fortunate to Encounter a Sunny Day

Sharing my experience on Wai Lingding Island. Recently, the weather on Wai Lingding Island has been mostly cloudy with light rain. On the day I landed on the island, I initially thought I wouldn't see the sunrise as the sky was overcast and gray. Unexpectedly, about ten minutes after disembarking, the sun came out, which was incredibly lucky! When the weather is good, the sea is so blue that it's mesmerizing, and there's no need for filters at all. That day, I hiked around the island for a few hours. For those planning to hike around the island, make sure to prepare snacks and drinking water in advance before climbing the mountain. The entire hiking route is about ten kilometers, and there are no convenience stores along the way for supplies. Although there are a few rest stops along the route, there are no shops there. If you're coming from Guangzhou and have enough time, you can opt for a day trip, which is perfect for a 'special forces' style travel. Buy a ticket from Guangzhou South Station to Zhuhai Mingzhu Station before 7 AM, arriving at Mingzhu Station around 8 AM. From there, you can take a bus or taxi to Xiangzhou Port. You can purchase ferry tickets on the Xiangzhou Port app, departing from Xiangzhou Port to Wai Lingding Island. In conclusion, Wai Lingding Island is truly beautiful. With proper preparation, you'll have a wonderful time!
