We had a fantastic stay at Rixos Seagate in Nabq Bay, Sharm El Sheikh, and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The hotel was excellent, the food offered great variety, and everything was consistently fresh and delicious. What impressed us the most were the children’s entertainment programs, which were incredible and changed daily, keeping the kids excited and entertained. The animation team did an outstanding job, especially at the kids club—a major highlight for our family traveling with small children. Our kids were well cared for and happily occupied by the animators, making our stay much more relaxing. We had a fantastic vacation at Amphoras Blu. Thank you to the hotel owner and all the staff. The receptionists were very understanding, and the guest relation girls explained everything clearly. Special thanks to Irina and the local girl. The chefs, grill masters, and bartenders were excellent. The service at the beach was outstanding. Additionally, there was a wonderful group of young animators. If not for Lidia, I might not have joined the competitions, but her energy was contagious. Great job, guys and girls! I do want to point out a few minor shortcomings. The room cleaning could be better—floors aren't washed, and old tubes are placed next to new ones. Also, the drinks were disappointing, just syrup diluted with water. It would be great to have vibrant, proper cocktails like at least a mojito. Wishing the hotel prosperity and happiness to everyone. If you're not expecting the luxury level of Rixos or Four Seasons for a modest price, this place is actually quite good. We booked a standard room with a sea view, and that's what we got—only the beach-front rooms were closer to the shore. It takes about two minutes to the beach, although the sea view also included rooftops of the beach-front buildings. Highlights included: a comfortable beach in a wind-free bay (in November, there were a couple of windy days where getting out of the water felt uncomfortable, but the sea itself remained calm), beautiful grounds, helpful staff, and the option to swim along the shore. We swam past Sharm Plaza and could even go further to Blue Reef. Downsides: No breakfast was provided on the day of arrival, leaving us to eat only at 4 PM in our time zone, so prepare for an extended period with no food. The overall dining experience was the hotel’s weak point. Coming from a Turkish 5-star hotel during the previous trip, the initial days were a bit disappointing until I acclimated. Another issue was the fight for sunbeds early in the morning. Due to the time difference, we woke up at 6 AM, and my mom reserved beds, but by 9 AM, sunbeds were still available—though often in less convenient spots. After that hour, finding good locations became much harder; spots by the pools were more readily available. Additionally, loud music begins on the beach from 10 AM with no escape from it. The crowd consisted primarily of Russian-speaking guests from Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, and the Baltic states, with a few Italians and some locals. A significant number of visitors gave an impression of being unfamiliar with etiquette or refinement. The reef was underwhelming, not meeting expectations. Rooms are decidedly worn, although functional; a general deep clean for the bathroom would be appreciated.
