Today I'm sharing with you #NewZealand's must-visit attractions
Doubtful Sound Over Night Cruise 🚢
You must go crazy at least once in your life!
It is not uncommon to spend the night in the fjords.
If you have the opportunity to go,
Be sure to try diving and swimming in the fjord!
You won't regret it!
(Although....super! cold!)
Isolation from the world for 24 hours.
Spend a night in Doubtful Sound, one of New Zealand's most stunning destinations!
Two days and one night trip,
A man took a bus from Te Anau to Manapouri
Then transfer to a boat to cross Lake Manapouri and head to the west arm visit centre
Then take two more buses 🚌 to Doubtful Sound Port ⚓️
Finally, take the highlight ferry overnight boat 🚢
-
The driver and the captain will give a brief guide along the way.
When you board the ship, you will immediately have a delicious afternoon tea☕️
Then began a wonderful, fulfilling and crazy journey!
I used to think it was a dream to be able to kayak in the fjords.
I have always been looking forward to going to Norway to experience it once in the future🛶
I didn't expect happiness to come so quickly.
I spent the night in a fjord in the southern hemisphere!
Not just an overnight stay,
We also went kayaking for two kilometers!
It was my first time rowing alone, and it was a bit difficult to control the direction at first.
But looking at the magnificent scenery in front of us
Everything seems to have become much simpler.
Then!
I also challenged the fjord diving!
Can you imagine?
In the fjord at 3 degrees Celsius,
Jump into ice water of who knows how many degrees!
An American girl I met on the bus told me:
"I am going to swim, you should do it too"
(I'm going swimming, you should try it too!)
There was no fear at all.
I just thought, "How many chances do you have to swim in the fjord in your lifetime?"
Without saying anything, sister, jump!
And jumped twice!
When jumping into the water,
The cold is chilly, and I have to keep moving my hands and feet
Now I can finally understand the feelings of Rose & Jack in Titanic
But the excitement in my heart is stronger than the chill 💪

Doubtful Sound, the water is like a mirror
Completely seamless reflection of the majestic valley and blue sky and white clouds
Sometimes you can't tell the difference between true and false
After all, I live in the reflection.
Or is it the reflection that is the real existence?
The ferry passed by, creating waves.
The water trails behind.
The blue sky was crumpled.
We watched the sunset at sea
Listen to the calls of sea lions and birds
The sky gradually changes from blue to orange
Then it gradually turns into dark blue.
We found a bay surrounded on three sides in the fjord.
The moonlight shines, and the reflection of the valley remains
Just a few more stars.
-
The next morning, we saw wild penguins.
Finally, the captain took us to a high and steep mountain wall.
He asked us to stop everything.
No talking, no taking pictures
Just close your eyes and enjoy the moment
Listen to the birdsong and the sound of waterfalls
Feel the magnificence of nature
The boat was also out of service.
At this moment, you can only hear nature.
I closed my eyes.
Listen quietly
Enjoy this perfect moment.
Personally, I think these 10 minutes are the most interesting moment.
The inexplicable emotion at the moment
It turns out that seeing an incredibly beautiful scene makes you want to cry
It's not exaggerated at all.
-
This time I was lucky enough to get a discount for locals.
The entire trip costs NZ$180!
(Generally priced at 465-575 yuan!)
Fortunately, the weather was super sunny these two days☀️
——Geography classroom👩🏻🏫——
Fjords are landforms formed by glaciers.
Glaciers erode river valleys.
When glaciers slide down from the mountains,
Not only does it flow in from the valley,
It also eroded the mountain walls to form canyons.
When these canyons close to the coast are flooded by seawater,
A fjord is formed.
