#hellohalloween #naturalwonders #travel My boyfriend and I did the 3-day Mount Cameroon trek with Queen Tour in early June 2025 and had a fantastic experience. Everything was well organized from the start — we reached out to Simo (the manager, WhatsApp: +237 677 161 861) and he was super responsive, flexible, and made sure the itinerary matched our limited schedule. The trek was beautiful, well-paced, and the support team (guide and porters) were kind, calm, and very professional. That said: this is not an easy hike. It’s physically demanding — especially over three days. Day 1: 7.5 km, 1,906 m elevation gain in just 4 hours — very steep climb through forest and savannah to reach Hut 2. Day 2: 21.8 km, 1,230 m elevation gain in 7 hours — summit day! A long, tough push to the top (4095m), then down through lava fields to the forest. Day 3: 15.7 km, mostly downhill, through beautiful rainforest to Bokwango village (took us about 5 hours). We’re both quite fit and used to hiking, and it still pushed us. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who isn’t in solid physical shape, especially on the 3-day version where you do long distances each day. But if you’re up for it, it’s 100% worth the effort. The views, the silence of the mountain, the sense of accomplishment — all unforgettable. The changing landscapes are stunning, and summit sunrise was something truly special.
