Arches National Park
I sincerely recommend visiting these incredible places before leaving the United States
Arches National Park:
Located in Utah, it is famous for its more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches. The sunlight streaming through these naturally formed arches creates a spectacular interplay of light and shadow.
The Wave:
Located on the border of Arizona and Utah, entry is by lottery only. The wave-like rock formations shimmer in the sunlight with dazzling red, orange, and yellow hues, making you feel as if you are on another planet, marveling at the endless wonders and changes of nature.
Palouse:
Situated in eastern Washington and western Idaho, it is a vast expanse of farmland. In spring, the green wheat and pea fields roll like waves, while in autumn, they become a golden ocean. From a high vantage point, the landscape here resembles a colorful tapestry of the earth!
White Sands National Park:
Located in New Mexico, this is the world's largest gypsum sand desert and also an excellent place to watch the sunset!
Badlands National Park:
Located in South Dakota, it is known for its unique eroded landscape and fossil beds. Walking here, you will discover various ancient fossils, attracted by the desolate yet mysterious terrain.
Goblin Valley State Park:
Located in Utah, it is famous for its unique 'goblin' rock formations. As the setting sun casts an orange-red glow, these rocks seem to come to life, with various shapes of 'goblins' leaping before you, creating a stunning spectacle.
White Pocket:
Located in Arizona, it is known as 'God's brain coral' due to its irregular rock layers and strange colors that are mesmerizing, with every corner full of surprises.
Saguaro National Park:
Located in Arizona, these giant saguaro cacti create a unique desert landscape, especially during sunset when the entire scene is bathed in a golden glow.

Arches National Park in Moab, Utah is one of the less known national park to Asian travelers. In my opinion, it is one of the most spectacular and must visit place in the US.
This area “Moab” is well known for the most arch-alike geological formation in the world. Rock aches are not only inside the national park. The large arch in the last photo looks like the nose of an elephant is located next to the Corona Arch. It’s free to hike and visit the place if seeing hundreds of arches inside Arches National Park is not enough.
The Land Of Beautiful Arches
Arches National Park is located at Utah where it consists of over 2000 natural stone arches in the whole entire park.
There are a few popular arches where you will see many tourists and do require abit of walking and climbing, but isn't something too difficult. Some of the popular arches are delicate arch(the most famous Arch with some climbing required), landscape arch where is the 2nd most famous Arch(and this arch might collapse anytime), the balance rock where you will see a rock at the top of one of the rock formation.
These 3 popular arches you see are in the pictures of this post, do check out their walking distance required and make sure you do prepare some supplies with you like water and food, as the hot sun can be scorching hot.

Stunning Red Rocks of Arches National Park
Arches National Park is one of the many famous Park located in Moab,Utah. We did a rest stop from our road trip and head into the National park where you are required to pay a fee of $30USD for cars and it has become so popular that your are required to book a time entry ticket 3 mths before your visit or you can get a annual pass instead for $55USD which I do recommend.
There are many activities that you can do here like hiking to the 2000 over Arches in this park, or just drive along the scenic road in the park. Infact there are many hikes here for you to see the many beautiful natural Arches, which I recommend to also plan your trip before coming here.
During summer, the national park can be really hot and quite uncomfortable, do bring ample water and food, and also bring an umbrella and sunblock as there isn't much shade here. Do go early as well, as you will also see many tour buses here during your trip due to the popularity of this place.
Also, what makes this a perfect trip is definitely a convertible car which you can also now book via the trip app, do remember to book early to maximise your savings, and also look out for amazing deals and offer too!

Nature’s Stone Sculptures: A Journey Through Arches National Park
Exploring Arches National Park felt like stepping onto another planet. The park’s surreal landscape is filled with over 2,000 natural sandstone arches, towering red rock formations, and unique stone sculptures shaped by millions of years of erosion. Each arch has its own character, and seeing them in person is an unforgettable experience.
One of the highlights of my visit was hiking to Delicate Arch. The trail is moderately challenging but incredibly rewarding; as you round the last bend, the iconic arch comes into view, framed by vast desert and distant mountains. It’s a humbling sight, and watching the sunset here adds a magical glow to the red rock.
Another must-see is Landscape Arch, one of the longest natural arches in the world. Its thin, delicate structure seems to defy gravity, a testament to nature’s artistry. The Devil’s Garden trail offers access to this and other unique formations, making it a great adventure for those wanting to explore more.
Arches National Park is a wonderland of natural beauty and geological marvels. Each formation feels like a sculpture crafted by time, and the experience left me in awe of the incredible forces that shape our planet.
Arches National Park: A Monumental Landscape of Natural Wonders
#nationalparks #100waysoftravel
Arches National Park in eastern Utah is a breathtaking showcase of natural stone arches and red rock formations that frame the deep blue sky like nowhere else on earth. With over 2,000 natural stone arches, this park offers a stunning panorama of unique geological features that captivate hikers, photographers, and nature lovers alike.
Stunning Geology and Iconic Arches
The park's most famous feature, Delicate Arch, stands as a solitary span against the backdrop of rolling mountains and vast, clear skies—a must-see for any visitor. The Landscape Arch, another highlight, boasts being one of the longest natural arches in the world. These formations, created through millions of years of erosion and geological activity, form a surreal landscape that feels almost otherworldly.
Hiking and Exploration
Arches National Park offers a variety of trails ranging from easy walks to strenuous hikes. The park’s well-marked paths lead to the most iconic arches and viewpoints, including the Fiery Furnace, a labyrinth of narrow sandstone canyons that requires a permit for exploration. For those seeking a less guided adventure, the park’s diverse terrain allows for off-path exploration in designated areas, offering a more solitary interaction with the natural world.
Photography and Sunrise/Sunset Views
Photographers flock to Arches for its unique natural structures and the shifting colors of the rocks at sunrise and sunset. The park's orientation provides spectacular lighting for dramatic photography, with the red rocks glowing intensely under the rising and setting sun. Popular spots like Turret Arch and Balanced Rock present exceptional opportunities for capturing the beauty of the park.
Visitor Tips
- Visit Early or Late: To avoid the crowds and the midday heat, plan to visit early in the morning or late in the afternoon. These times also offer the best light for photography.
- Stay Hydrated: The desert environment can be harsh, especially in summer. Carry plenty of water, wear sunscreen, and dress in layers to adapt to changing temperatures.
- Respect the Landscape: Stick to marked trails to preserve the fragile desert ecosystem and prevent erosion around the arches.

The Windows Section at Arches National Park
#nationalparks #100waysoftravel
The Windows Section of Arches National Park is renowned for its concentration of stunning natural arches, making it one of the most visited and photographed areas in the park. This spectacular part of the park offers visitors the chance to see several of the park's largest and most iconic arches up close, including the North and South Window Arches, as well as Turret Arch.
Iconic Landscapes and Easy Accessibility
The Windows Section is celebrated for its accessibility and the sheer majesty of its natural formations. Trails here are relatively short and manageable for most visitors, leading directly to massive arch formations that frame the sky in dramatic natural stone. The area provides various vantage points from which to view the arches, each offering a unique perspective and photo opportunity.
Photographer's Dream
Sunrise and sunset are particularly magical times to visit the Windows Section. The soft light enhances the red rock formations, casting incredible shadows and glowing warmly in the golden hour light. Photographers flock to capture the perfect shot of the sun peeking through the arches, creating a stunning interplay of light and stone.
Explorative Trails and Panoramic Views
For those looking to explore further, the primitive trail around the back of the North and South Windows offers a less crowded experience and different angles of the arches. This trail is slightly more challenging but rewards hikers with unique views and quieter moments. Turret Arch, another impressive arch nearby, provides a striking contrast with its distinct shape and offers a fantastic framing of the distant La Sal Mountains.
Visitor Tips
- Early or Late Visits: To avoid the crowds and experience the area in its most serene state, plan to visit early in the morning or later towards sunset.
- Bring Water and Sun Protection: The desert environment can be harsh, especially in the middle of the day. It’s essential to carry water, wear sun protection, and dress appropriately for the weather.
- Stay on Designated Trails: To preserve the natural landscape and for your safety, always stay on the marked trails and avoid climbing on the arches.

Arches National Park is one of the best Picturesque Locations❤️
#photolocation
The art of self driving time, sea water, and wind in the western United States is the most sunny, tiring, but stunning part of the entire itinerary. The third stop of the Western Ring Road is the Arches National Park. Let's take a look at the arches with different shapes and postures along my route. You can purchase a car for 35, purchase a ticket, or use a national park annual pass. Regardless of the method, you need to make an appointment in advance. You can go to the official website at 6pm the day before entering the park and make an appointment in advance. If you haven't made an appointment before 7am or after 4pm, you can avoid participating in the admission process. ADMT ONE. Drive along the park route and drive to the Park Avenue Viewpoint to park, take photos, and clock in (p2). You don't need to run a trail and then go to Balance Rock to take photos and clock in. It's a large Jianda Qi Fun Egg (p3)
Best hikes in Arches National Park 🇺🇸
#usatrip
Arches National Park is one of the two national park located conveniently (within 30 min) from Moab, Utah - for those looking to spend a day in this amazing national park, here are my top recommendations and tips:
🏔️ Best long hike: I would really recommend the Delicate Arch trail (📍Address: Delicate Arch Trail, Moab, UT 84532, United States) - it is a relatively challenging hike, covering a round trip distance of 5.1 km and will take you around 3 - 5 hours to complete depending on your physical fitness.
🏜️ Best short hike: the Window Trail (📍Address: Windows Lp Trl, Utah 84532, USA) is the best short to moderate hole for those looking to enjoy their trip without tiring themselves too much - the hike itself is only 1 km round trip and it’s relatively flat, should take you less than an hour to complete. Be sure to look back when you are at the mid-way point as you can see a majestic view of the North and South window side by side!
⭐️ Top tips: bring a ton of water!!! It’s very important to stay hydrated on trail as it gets really hot and dry since the national park is basically a dessert!

Arches National Park 🇺🇸

A visit to Arches National Park in Utah was a highlight of my trip! 🌄 The park, just a short drive from Moab, has a $30 entrance fee per vehicle, which is a small price for such stunning landscapes. The park is famous for its natural stone arches, and they truly live up to the hype. 🏜️
I started my day with the iconic Delicate Arch hike. It’s a 3-mile round trip, and though challenging, the view of the arch against the vast desert landscape was absolutely worth it. 🌟 I also enjoyed the scenic drive, which takes you past various arches and rock formations, including the famous Landscape Arch and the Windows Section. 🚗💨
For a relaxing afternoon, I drove to the Fiery Furnace area, where I did some light scrambling and admired the unique rock formations. Don’t miss the sunset from the park's viewpoints; the changing colors on the arches are magical. 🌅
Arches National Park is a must-see for nature lovers and photographers. The sheer beauty and diversity of its landscapes make every moment memorable. #trip #ArchesNationalPark #UtahBeauty #HikingAdventures #DesertWonders #ScenicViews

The world's largest concentration of sandstone arches
Covering over 70,000 acres
Home to hundreds of natural rock arches
Water, ice, extreme temperature changes, and underground salt beds are
the main reasons for the rock landscapes in Arches National Park
Under the influence of erosion and weathering
New arches are still being formed to this day
The arches vary in shape and each has its own characteristics
What they specifically look like
Depends entirely on one's imagination and creativity😌
The most famous of these
is the Delicate Arch
It is said to also be the symbol of Utah™️
The day we went there was snowing
Thick white snow covered the rocks
Leaving only white and reddish-brown colors between heaven and earth...
.
Afterward, we headed to the Four Corners Monument
To visit the only quadripoint in the United States
At the border of Arizona, Colorado,
New Mexico, and Utah
Enjoying the beauty of the Colorado Plateau👏

ps. I bought a small stone for $12 and a dreamcatcher for $15 at a stall set up by a Native American, I must say I was a bit impulsive when buying them🥶.
USA|Sharing 15 photos of Arches National Park
🚗 Arches National Park, located near the town of Moab in Utah, USA, covers an area of 309 square kilometers and preserves over 2000 natural rock arches, including the world-famous Delicate Arch. The highest point in the park is Elephant Butte, which is 1753 meters above sea level. It receives about 850,000 visitors each year. Some people come here to study geology or are interested in the evolution of nature. Of course, more people come to see the famous arches.
🚗 It is also a quite distinctive national park with many naturally formed arches. If you are physically fit, you can walk all three branches of the scenic area within a day. If you go early, you can also watch the sunrise, and you can indeed feel the different colors presented by the arches under different light. The last trail is quite long, and the weather is dry, so be sure to bring enough water and food.
The benchmark of excellent national parks - Arches National Park
The symbol of Utah, the location of the perfect arch!
🌟Highlights:
Various natural arch wonders, you can enjoy them from a distance, and it's even more exciting to walk closer
👍Most recommended:
The most recommended is the Double Hole Arch hiking route. The regular route to the Double Hole Arch is about 3-4 miles; if you go deeper, it's a more exciting advanced route where you can see the Black Angel, about 7-8 miles. There are road signs and you can ask passers-by if you don't know the route. I saw some hikers using an app called Hiking, the route they have walked is one color, it's easy to distinguish between the route they have walked and the one they haven't; the advanced version has mountain roads, it's very hard if you don't have enough physical strength!
✅Must experience:
If you don't want to get too tired, just go to the perfect arch, about 12 minutes of hiking, you can see it from a distance, bring a telephoto lens!
⏳Play time:
I went in for the second time, if you go early, you can see the fog in the canyon and take special pictures, or go at four or five in the afternoon when the sun is about to set, it's not recommended to go deep, just look as far as you can see!
Fall beauty on the La Sal Mountain, Utah
#helloautumn The La Sal Mountain Loop vistas and state park are breathtaking and worth the easy drive from Moab. check with locals for the peak colors, but mid-October is a safe bet. Be sure to pack a lunch and water since there are no restaurants along the way or in the area. the fall weather in the La Sal Mountains is to die for and encourages lots of walking, biking and just simply communing with the beauty around you in the golden splendor.
Amazing Arches National Park
#arches #archesnationalpark what an amazing place. This national park is properly crazy! Scenery everywhere you turn that is breathtaking. I can’t recommend a trip here enough!
The Majestic Delicate Arch 🏜️
Delicate Arch is just WOW 🏜️ I’ve seen a lot of crazy landscapes but this just took my breath away. It’s really this huge 🧡
Make sure you take the Delicate Arch trail and not the Delicate Arch Viewpoint trail to get close to the Arch.
The trail is 3.2 miles round trip and 629 ft elevation gain and takes about an hour and a half to complete. However it’s all uphill on the way to the Arch so be prepared.

Arches National Park - Utah, USA

Arches National Park lies north of Moab in the state of Utah. Bordered by the Colorado River in the southeast, it’s known as the site of more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches, such as the massive, red-hued Delicate Arch in the east. Long, thin Landscape Arch stands in Devils Garden to the north. The best time to visit Arches National Park is April through May and September through October, when daytime temperatures average about 60 to 80 degrees. In the summer, temperatures can exceed 100 degrees, which can make exploring the park's trails very uncomfortable. #passionpassport #beautifuldestinations
American is the first county that I traveled, this place makes me fall in love in travel landscape photography
Adventures in Arches National Park.
This park is filled with amazing rock formations and spectacular views. Delicate Arch is one of these said rock formations. On this day, we were lucky enough to get some amazing cloud coverage as well as one of the most amazing sunsets I’ve seen. The trip took place in February so there was still a little snow fall on the ground. It’s a short drive located just outside of Moab, Utah, and it’s always well worth it.

This has become one of my favorite parks! A lot of the views you can get from the car. There are many key viewpoints along the way. The best thing to do is go to the visitor’s center with your map and discuss with the rangers what things you want to do or see. If there’s snow on the ground, you will be limited with where you can go and helpful if you have crampons. We flew into Sal Lake City and drove from there 3 1/2 hrs ( shortest route). #wintergetaway
