Be sure to wear a bright-colored dress, take the small train deep inside, don’t just stay at the crowded entrance. 4️⃣ Keluke Town: Filming location of "The Tree of Life," with the Baiju family house and hospital, definitely worth a visit. 5️⃣ Chaerhan Salt Lake: This is the real “emerald,” much larger than Chaka. The industrial style combined with the turquoise water is stunning. You must take the small train inside, or your legs will give out. 6️⃣ Dachaidan Emerald Lake: The essence of Dachaidan, not pure white but Tiffany blue and emerald green. Wearing a black windbreaker for photos adds a high-end feel. 8️⃣ Mogao Caves: Must book in advance. No photos allowed inside. You can see 8 caves and two films, totally worth the ticket price. 9️⃣ Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring: Enter after 5 PM, or the sand will be too hot for your feet. Climb Mingsha Mountain for a panoramic view of Crescent Spring. Watching the sunset on the dunes is the most romantic moment in Dunhuang. 1️⃣0️⃣ Silk Road Heritage City: Not far from downtown, with a miniature Sphinx. Great for those who love exotic photo shoots. The night view is also nice. 1️⃣1️⃣ Son of the Earth: A giant reclining baby sculpture by the roadside in Guazhou, quite impressive. At 2:50 PM, took the bus into the Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park. Among the four stops, the last one has the most beautiful scenery. Explored until 5 PM. The colors of Danxia are truly dazzling~ Day 7: Depart at 7 AM to Qilian Mountain Grassland, arrive at 9:30 AM. Took great photos of prayer flags and horses, and encountered cute pika for the first time, kids were super excited~ Depart at 10:30 AM to Gangshika Snow Mountain. Due to weather, visibility was limited, a bit disappointing~ Passed by Menyuan rapeseed flower fields. Arrived at hotel at 1 PM, had lunch, then went to Xining Wildlife Park. After visiting, went to Wanda Plaza, then took a taxi to Xiannanguan Street, which is slightly less lively than Daxin Street Night Market~ Day 8: Depart at 11 AM to Qinghai Provincial Museum. Walked to Yifude Kangrou for lunch, the taste was excellent! Took a taxi to Zanghui Warehouse to buy specialties, great shopping! Took a taxi to the airport at 4:30 PM for the return trip~ Traveling this route with kids, the itinerary is well arranged, not rushed, and you won’t miss any beautiful scenery or delicious food.
