How to Get Around:
Honestly, renting a car is the way to go in Kauai. It’s the fastest (and chillest) way to hit up top spots without waiting for shuttles. Turo and Shanna wer amazing to dwal with. Loved the Expedition! Bonus: Easy to park anywhere near beaches, Princeville, or Eleele.
Must-See Attractions:
You *cannot* skip Captain J's Napali Coast Morning Snorkeling Tour! Set your alarm for it because the views are 🤯 and the water is sooo clear – fish everywhere! This tour kicks off from Eleele Harbor (4353 Waialo Rd , Eleele, HI 96705). The crew are the real MVPs, and the trip usually runs about 5 hours starting at 7AM. Luau Kalamaku (3-2087 Kaumualil Hwy, Lihue, HI 96766) buffet and dinner show was a terrific way to spend our final evening on Kauai. A wonderful evening to rember always. loved the story and all the performers. Teriyaki chicken, fish, and of course the pig that was cooked in the ground! Scrumptious !!!!
Food Guide:
Omg, the food trucks in Princeville are unmatched! There’s *literally* a world tour packed into a parking lot – from poke bowls, Thai, and classic Hawaiian BBQ to next-level acai bowls. Most trucks cluster near Princeville Shopping Center (5-4280 Kuhio Hwy, Princeville, HI 96722), usually open after 11AM till around 6PM. Grab a bite and enjoy the laid-back vibes!
🏨 Accommodation:
Stayed at Princeville Emmalani Court, Unit 214 and YES – 10/10 would recommend. Super comfy condo vibes, walking distance to the cliff with great views of the ocean, and a chill pool scene. Perfect for both fam and solo vibes. Address: Emmalani Ct, Princeville, HI 96722.
🍴 Food Recommendations
Definitely don’t miss out on the shrimp plates, Ahi, Mahi mahi – totally fresh and slathered in tropical sauces. For dessert, seek out the shave ice trucks. They’re like a sugar rush in paradise!
