Food Recommendations
Besides the above, Wuhan has many other delicious foods like Huangpi three-flavor, Hongshan vegetable shoots stir-fried with cured meat, mianwo (fried dough cups), and huanxituo (a local snack), all worth trying.
Avoiding Pitfalls
1. Yellow Crane Tower: If you want a high vantage point for views, you can also choose the nearby Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge or Qingchuan Pavilion for better value. But as a landmark, Yellow Crane Tower is still worth visiting.
2. Hubu Alley: It’s crowded with tourists, prices may be higher, and some shops might not have authentic flavors. Choose popular shops for the best food.
3. Wuhan University: Visiting requires advance booking, and holidays or cherry blossom season are very crowded, so plan ahead. If you only want to see cherry blossoms, East Lake Cherry Blossom Park is also beautiful and less crowded.
Family, Wuhan’s delicious food and beautiful sights are calling you 👏! Save this guide and take a spontaneous trip to Wuhan! Feel free to ask me any questions in the comments. Wishing everyone a wonderful time in Wuhan 🥳!
