Jimo District travel guide and discussion

On the northeastern coast of Qingdao, there is a hot spring resort that represents this place. And there are many things that will satisfy both adults and children. The indoor hot spring pool is almost like a water park, and there is a separate hot spring area, and you can enjoy the outdoor hot spring while looking at the sea. You can also get a foot massage, and this hot spring resort with rooms is the largest seawater hot spring in Qingdao, built on a site of about 30,000 pyeong at the 'Haeman Bay Hot Spring Center' with an investment of about 340 million yuan (about 57.3 billion won). The only downside is that there are not many places to eat or get food delivered nearby, so it is better to pack food and the rooms feel old, perhaps because they are a bit old. But all these disadvantages are worth it if you look at the price here, it boasts an incredible cost-effectiveness that is enough to cover the cost, and the Crown Plaza Hotel is right next door, so if you spend a little more, you can solve that problem. In conclusion, it is recommended as a winter vacation spot. #China #Qingdao travel #Hot spring travel #Hot spring #Haeman Bay #Resort #Water park

Mashan (马山), located in Jimo (即墨) north of Qingdao, is the only geological park and national nature reserve in Qingdao. And here is Mashan Stone Forest (马山石林), which is considered the largest inland columnar joint. In addition, there is the Petrified Wood Museum, the Taoist temple of foxes (狐仙居), the Jade Emperor Temple (狐仙居) that can be found everywhere, etc., and there are many natural and humanistic attractions, and the best thing about it is that it is free!! The location is a bit ambiguous, but if you combine it with the nearby Jimo Ancient City, you can complete a day trip. However, there are not many places to buy food and drinks, and the site is quite large, so it is better to prepare those things in advance. #China #Qingdao #Travel #Jimo #Masan #Geological Park #Nature Travel #Qingdao Travel

There are many unknown hot springs in the Jimo Hot Springs Complex. The Xianggen Hotel is not as famous as Tiantai or Haeman, but it is still a well-known hot spring. Even if you come without a hotel, there is a Chinese restaurant on the second floor and a separate place to eat the food you brought. Apples, radishes, and biscuits are provided free of charge. There are not many rides, but it is good for a quiet hot spring trip.

My crush took me to this lovely spot for my birthday! The go-to restaurant for birthday celebrations in Jimo🎂🥀 An industrial-style, dry-aged steakhouse. Sophisticated and timeless, it’s romantic to the core! · 🍽️ Wagyu A3 Ribeye Steak Industrial-style, dry-aged! The meat has a rich, milky aroma. Beautiful marbling, tender and not dry, with a rich, savory flavor. It’s also super photogenic!! · 🍽️ Colorful Tomato Salad Refreshing and palate-cleansing, with a perfect sweet and sour balance that cuts through the richness of the steak. 🍽️ Hummus with Dinner Rolls Smooth, creamy hummus paired with soft rolls—a huge plus! · They also offer fresh food gift boxes for purchase. ⚠️ Remember to book birthday decorations in advance to really elevate the experience. You can't go wrong choosing this place for a birthday✨

Jimo has abundant beach resources. Whether you want to experience the thrill of clam digging or find a comfortable place to relax on vacation, it has you covered. 🏖️ Top choice for leisure and family vacations If you are traveling with children or looking for a place with complete facilities for water play and hot springs, this is the perfect choice. The beach is fine and sandy, located right next to the Ocean Spring Resort, offering a one-stop solution for dining, entertainment, and fun. 🦐 Clam digging: A family paradise The beaches here are perfect for family trips, rich in white clams (commonly known as "shagala") and razor clams. The clams are easy to catch in clusters, making it a great place to experience the fun of clam digging with children. 🌊 Unique islands and secluded getaways Known as the "most beautiful coastal hideaway in the north," the island features rare wild bamboo forests and sea-eroded landforms. It is suitable for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle, experience a unique slow-paced island life, and enjoy water sports. 🏝️ History, culture, and island scenery With a deep historical heritage (Tomb of the Five Hundred Loyalists of Tianheng), it is surrounded by the sea on three sides. It offers both historical sites and beautiful natural island scenery, perfect for taking a boat to explore the island. 💡 Clam digging tips: If you want to go clam digging, it is recommended to check the local tide table in advance. The harvest is usually most abundant during the high tides around the first and fifteenth days of the lunar month. Remember to bring a small shovel, a bucket, and non-slip rubber shoes!

This is my seventh city in China so far, and every single visit brings fresh emotions and unforgettable impressions. China is beautifully multifaceted. This trip introduced us to Qingdao, where warm seawater caresses your skin, crisp mountain air fills your lungs, and ancient streets wrap you in their unique vibe. Our journey kicked off in Jimo and instantly hit us with a wave of emotions. By day, it’s an incredibly atmospheric spot with stunning photo ops on every corner. But at night, the whole place lights up, and you step right into a fairy tale. You absolutely have to visit Jimo to experience the true beauty of this old town.

If you have a few days in Qingdao, I'd definitely set aside one of them for a trip outside the downtown area. And the options here are quite diverse: mountains by the sea, an ancient city, beaches, or even a completely different city in Shandong province. Save these 6 ideas 👇 ⛰ 1. Laoshan | 崂山 The best option for nature lovers. Granite mountains stretch almost right to the sea, Taoist temples are nestled between them, and hiking trails wind along the slopes. 👉 Choose Laoshan if you want a complete change of scenery from the urban landscape for a day. 🏮 2. Jimo | 即墨 The main reason to come here is Jimo Ancient City 即墨古城. Gates, traditional architecture, courtyards, temples, and streets that look especially beautiful towards the evening. 👉 A great option for those who miss the vibe of old China during their trip. 🏖 3. Huangdao | 黄岛 Technically, you won't even have to travel far from Qingdao, but the west coast feels completely different. The main spot is Golden Sand Beach 金沙滩, one of the most famous beaches in the area. 👉 It's worth coming here on a clear day for the sea and a leisurely stroll. 🪁 4. Weifang | 潍坊 Not the most obvious choice, and that's exactly why it's interesting. Weifang is famous for its kite culture. What to see: · Shihu Garden 十笏园 · Weifang World Kite Museum 潍坊世界风筝博物馆 👉 Perfect if you want to see something beyond the standard set of Chinese tourist attractions. 🌊 5. Yantai | 烟台 Another coastal city in Shandong that is easy to reach by high-speed train. Start with Yantai Mountain 烟台山, walk along Chaoyang Street 朝阳街, and spend the rest of your time by the coast. 👉 I would choose Yantai for the combination of the sea, old architecture, and long walks. 🌅 6. Weihai | 威海 An option for those who feel Qingdao wasn't enough and want even more of the sea. Promenades, islands, a rocky coastline, and a more relaxed pace. Check out: · Happiness Gate 幸福门 · Liugong Island 刘公岛 · Huancui Coast 环翠 What to choose? ⛰ mountains and nature → Laoshan 🏮 old China → Jimo 🏖 beach → Huangdao 🪁 an unusual trip → Weifang 🏘 architecture + sea → Yantai 🌊 a whole day by the sea → Weihai 📌 If this is your first trip to Qingdao, out of all six, I would definitely pick Laoshan first. It differs the most from the city itself and lets you see a completely different side of the region in a single trip. Save this list so you don't have to figure out a route on the spot 🚄

#NovemberTravelSupportEvent #HistoricalTrace #Couples #TravelFun #WorldTourism 4Nights5DaysTrip to Qingdao, China The last one is located in Qingdao Jimoksi (即墨), Jimokgocheng (即墨古城) It feels like I've come back to ancient times in a time capsule I stayed at Jimokgochenggunranleo Hotel I really like it because it's inside a tourist attraction. This is an unedited shot, but the night view is so pretty and beautiful~ The only regret is that I went during the off-season So there were no night market food options. There's also a Chinese-style ancient costume rental event Next time, I'll definitely come when the night market is active^^ If you're planning a trip to Qingdao during the peak season, I definitely recommend it.

Its raining in Qingdao, and the sky after the rain is a purple-pink cloud, super dream! Like the castle and the Ferris wheel in the fairy tale world, the feeling of vacation here is super wonderful, you can see the sea by opening the window~

Qingdao Haiquan Bay is not only a hot spring, but also a large-scale stage repertoire. Today, we watched the first large-scale magic dance drama Dream Qindao in China. The professional interpretation of the dancers is moving, telling a story about Qindaos love and the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures. The beauty of the dance is gorgeous and fantastic, so don't miss it. Another "Alice in Wonderland" and "The Oz National Adventure of the Wizard of Oz" is very suitable for bringing children to experience together.

Zhuhai can be described as the city of Haiyu, with mountains and mountains, mountains and seas, and a hundred islands. It is also a tourist city with four seasons of flowers and sea breeze. When the north has been heated into the winter, it is still warm as summer. Warm winter, the strong ocean atmosphere is the most charming style of the city. This time we walked into Zhuhai at the beginning of winter, feel the warmth of the sea breeze in the winter, and listen to the light sound of the waves.

Chinese restaurant gourmet crit: The restaurant here is made with fresh local ingredients to make a seafood feast, let people eat the real taste of Qingdao, no shell fan scallops is not particularly sincere ~ have to mention the squid dumplings, tender and tender Q bomb, super delicious, full of Qingdao memory ~

What is the best match for the cold winter? That is naturally a soup! If you can still look at the hot springs, it is even more beautiful! Qingdao Haiquanwan Resort, in the Jimo District in the north of Qingdao, about 40 kilometers from downtown Qingdao, there is a unique ocean hot spring, as well as the long golden beach of Laoshan Bay. In the winter sun, the hot springs in the steaming outdoor pool, watching the gleaming yellow sea and flying seagulls in the sun, is really a different experience! Qingdao Haiquanwan Crowne Plaza Resort This is a small European-style castle-style building. The hotel has nearly 600 rooms and is in an excellent location, just a stone's throw from the Yellow Sea. Yes, on the side of the sea, open the floor-to-ceiling windows, stand on the balcony and enjoy the sunrise at sea without leaving the house! Ocean Hot Springs To be said, the marine hot springs in Qingdao Haiquanwan Resort are rare "ocean bromide salt hot springs". The effluent temperature is kept above 90 °C for many years and is rich in partiality. More than 30 kinds of beneficial trace elements and minerals such as silicic acid, bromine, sodium and fluorine. It is said that there are only four hot springs in the world, namely in Sicily, Italy, Kagoshima, Japan, and Green Island in Taiwan, as well as Haiquan Bay in Qingdao! The sea springs in Haiquan Bay are divided into two parts, indoor and outdoor. The indoor is a marine paradise spa with a huge dome. The largest pool can even be padded in the pool. ... However, if you want to enjoy the quiet "private soup" experience, there is also an independent hot spring pool!

Qingdao is a beautiful coastal city with a high reputation internationally, but the history of this city is not too long. In the past thousands of years of history, the land where Qingdao is located belongs to a long history. Small town. About half an hour's drive north from Qingdao, you will arrive at Jimo. For a long time, Jimo was a county. Until 2017, it became the Jimo District of Qingdao. Jimo is suitable for a day trip around Qingdao. Jimos tourist attractions are the first to be the ancient city of Jimo. Jimos name is very long and has existed for thousands of years. The ink in the ink refers to the ink river in the territory. The ancients usually named the city by mountains and rivers. In the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, Jimo was one of the most important cities in Qi State. It was compared with the capital of Lincheng, but the city site of Jimo was not in today's position, but in the area of Dazhumao Village, Gulin Town, Pingdu City. During the Sui Dynasty, Jimo County moved to this site for more than 1,400 years. The reconstructed Jimo Ancient City is surrounded by city walls and is free to open. Visitors are free to enter and exit the ancient city. The city walls and the two attractions in the ancient city must be purchased separately. The ancient city is small in size and can be easily visited on foot.
