Half a portion of donkey meat yellow noodles is enough. The meat slices are thin and translucent, dipped in garlic vinegar. Follow this guide and you’ll be fine. 📸 Let’s start with the photo spots since photography is the top priority Yadan Devil City really requires arriving an hour before sunset. The golden-red light hits the wind-eroded “fleet” formations. Stand at the Lion Peak pass and have your companions crouch low to shoot. A flick of a skirt makes for a Mars-like cinematic shot. At Yumenguan, don’t just shoot the monument. Step back to the small square at the city gate, have someone walk through the gate, and frame the horizon at one-third. The depth of the Gobi Desert instantly appears. For Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake, it’s best to climb the sand ridge after 6 PM.
