The Guidong Erdu Luo clan ancestral hall, also known as the Zhoujiang Luo clan ancestral hall (Chongde Hall) Yuzhang Hall, was first built in the 18th year of the Yongle reign in the Ming dynasty (1420 AD) by the descendants of Shao Jiu Gong. It underwent large-scale renovations during the Qianlong period of the Qing dynasty, which established the current main layout. It has been repaired several times on a smaller scale in later generations and was fully restored in recent years, preserving the overall Ming and Qing architectural style. Dating back about 600 years, it is one of the oldest ancestral halls still standing in Guidong. This hall belongs to the Yuzhang Luo clan. The founding ancestor Luo Ju (Shao Jiu Gong) migrated from Jishui, Jiangxi to Guidong Erdu at the end of the Song and beginning of the Yuan dynasties. His descendants are widely distributed across Guidong, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, and other areas. The building faces south and opens to the north, with two courtyards and one central skylight. It features a brick and wood structure blending Xiangnan and Gan architectural styles, with a hard mountain roof, fireproof mountain walls, and a penetrating wooden frame.
