There is also a theory that it was founded by his elder brother Takahi no Mikoto in 136. In 1574, when Uesugi Kenshin dispatched troops to the Kanto region, the shrine was burned down and not only the shrine building but also ancient documents and treasures were burned. Therefore, the details are unknown. Rebuilt in the Edo period in front of the main gate of Kisai Castle in Negoya Village, Saitama County (now Negoya, Kazo City). It is believed to have been moved to its current location around 1627.
