Lake Tuz Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Missing these 3 ways to play in Cappadocia, Turkey, will really make you cry!
If you travel to Turkey, Cappadocia is definitely a landmark city that cannot be missed
Cappadocia has a special terrain like an alien planet, and there are many cave hotels, which are already very beautiful
In this town and its surroundings, there are 3 ways to play that I strongly recommend to check in!
🧡 ATV Sunset
Generally, there are 2 people per car, you can take turns with your friends, the operation is not difficult, even beginners can learn on the spot
The leader will take everyone around the beautiful scenery of Cappadocia, and the scenery is even more beautiful if you choose to play at sunset!
🧡 Hot Air Balloon
Cappadocia is known as the best place to play with hot air balloons. The hot air balloons here usually rise at sunrise and sunset. I chose sunrise time.
The hot air balloon rises slowly, coupled with the light of the sunrise time and the majestic and spectacular terrain of the Cappadocia region, it is a must-experience in life!
🌟TIPS: There are different local companies doing hot air balloon experiences, it is recommended to choose a large and old company
🧡 Walk around Lake Tuz
Lake Tuz, also known as Salt Lake, is the Turkish version of the Sky Mirror! It is divided into the flood season (May-June) and the dry season. If it is in the flood season, you can see the mirror-like lake, but it is also very beautiful even in the dry season! The transportation to this place is not very convenient, you generally need to charter a car to get there, so it is relatively niche!
Wonderful Journey: Blue Turkey
Turkey, Asia
If I were to choose the most unforgettable place among all the countries I've been to, it must be Turkey.
From the moment of stepping off the plane, what catches the eye is the enchanting blue sky and white clouds. Take a deep breath and the sweet scent fills the air.
The sea breeze is gentle, the fragrance of flowers is in the air. Turkey 🇹🇷, spanning across Europe and Asia, is welcoming us with its unique romantic charm, and we are embarking on a wonderful journey here.
Ankara, Tuz Golu, Ankara Province
Turkey's second largest lake, due to different mineral content in the lake, different colors can be seen from afar, the dreamy colors are truly captivating.
Cappadocia, Turkey
✅Must experience:
Hot air balloon
Standing in a hot air balloon, slowly rising with the rising sun, enjoy the unique karst landforms, rolling mountains, rivers, and visual beauty brought by caves in Cappadocia.
After returning to the ground, the guide will give each tourist a photo and certificate, and celebrate with champagne, making the wonderful hot air balloon trip the most unforgettable memory for everyone.
Antalya
A place not to be missed, located on the Mediterranean coast, a spring resort facing the sea where flowers bloom. Here, you can take a horse-drawn carriage, feel the sea breeze, and enjoy a Mediterranean-style "local meal". How pleasant it is.
Kusadası Aydın Cotton Castle
A place you must go in your lifetime. The appearance is like a castle🏯 covered with cotton, and the spring water flows down from the top of the mountain. Along the way, it has undergone thousands of years of calcification and precipitation, forming a series of semi-circular white natural limestone steps that are stacked on top of each other. The Turkish people call it "Pamukkale", which means "cotton castle".
Bosphorus Strait
It is bordered by the Black Sea to the north and the Marmara and Mediterranean Seas to the south, dividing Turkey into two parts, Asia and Europe. The second largest city, Istanbul, is located in Europe, connected by the famous architectural landmark, the Eurasia Bridge.

Golu lake which is a salt lake. The salt is crystal clear and it is free entry. As long as you don’t mind to have the unprocessed salt you can harvest the salt for its consumption.
There is also mini markets around the lake area where they sell beauty products made from salt.
Departing from Ankara, going to Cappadocia will take you to Lake Tuz, which is also an attraction arranged during the trip.
Tuz Lake is Turkey's natural salt lake, located in the arid central plateau depression, is an inland lagoon in central Turkey, 50 km southwest of Ankara, the area and water depth change with the seasons. In spring, the lake surface can be expanded to 2,500 square kilometers, and the lake surface is reduced in summer, with a water depth of less than 1 meter.
Looking forward, Lake Tuz in winter is beautiful, and the pure white can't be seen at first.
Recall that when I graduated from college, I went to Lhasa to travel to Golmud, and I wanted to take a look at Chaka Salt Lake. But at that time, the time and budget were limited, so there was regret. After that, I have never had the chance to get close to Salt Lake, so this time it was the first time I saw Salt Lake, I was very excited.
Cloudy, gale, this season's Lake Tuz seems to be unable to present the scene of the sky, but its vast lake is still very shocking.
Remind the friends who are going to play, pay attention to your shoes and hats! Try not to wear shoes and step on the white place. If you want to walk into the water, be sure to take off your shoes. No matter how many shoes you have, you will fall under the power of Salt Lake.

🇹🇷🕌Mevlana Museum: All About Rumi!
#2024wish
In 2023, I got to visit the city of Konya in Türkiye!🇹🇷
Why is Konya famous? Because it is the place where the poet Rumi lived and concluded his life in! 👳🏽♂️🇹🇷
In Türkiye, Rumi is known under the name “Mevlana”. At first when we arrived, we weren’t sure who everyone was talking about. But soon we realized that this was the poet Rumi!📜
In the museum, you can see the resting place where Rumi’s body is laid, which is a large box surrounded by beautiful adornments. 🪦
Also, there are the graves of others close to Rumi, and many of Rumi’s personal artefacts and literature! 🧥
One of the COOLEST parts of this museum is a box which belonged to Rumi, which has little holes in the display case (see the photo). The reason for the little holes is because if you put your nose near them, you can still smell the oil that Rumi wore as perfume! 🤯🍶
This museum is such a gem, and was one of the highlights of our trip to Türkiye! Konya is a beautiful city, with lots of local culture and excitment. If you’re in Türkiye, definitely swing by Konya! ♥️♥️#localguides #historicallandmarks #turkey
BE ABROADABLE - Nat the Expat Conya, also known as the city of Mew, was born here because the famous Tajik thinker, poet and philosopher Meu Rana was born here.
is the site of the current Meurana Museum, known as Mevlana Dergah (Tokyo). It was once the rose garden of the Seljuk Palace, by Sultan Aladdin Kaikobad ( Alaeddin Keykubad) was presented as a gift to the mother of Meurana, Sultanu-Ulma Bhaddin Wilid. The
Meurana Museum was converted from a mosque. It is a devout shrine of the Conya people. It is also the most famous building in Conya. The top of the mosque uses bright green tiles, also known as the Green Top Mosque.
During the period of the Selju Empire, there were 170 religious schools nationwide, but the center was in the Green Mosque of Conya. The mosque is actually a comprehensive school. It takes 1000 days to go to school here. The school offers 18 majors. Students choose different majors according to their own preferences, such as music, reading Qur'an, spinning dance, etiquette, Persian, Arabic and Turkish. If you want, you can learn more languages. . Today, the Persian language spoken by Iran has some vocabulary and the same language, but the Turks do not understand. The Kurdish people of Turkey have their own language and Syria speaks Arabic. In addition to this, I still learn how to cook and tailor.
The school has 18 rooms, one room for two or three students. It is not easy to go to school here. Students need to think about whether they are suitable for three days.

Traditional markets centered around Konya.
"Türbeönü çarşıları" means "markets near the tomb" in Turkish. These are types of markets that can be seen in various cities of Turkey. Typically, these markets are located in the historical city centers of Turkey and are situated around landmarks or historical buildings.
These markets are places where traditional Turkish culture, handicrafts, clothing, fruits, vegetables, and a variety of other goods are sold, attracting both locals and tourists. They offer a place to experience the local history and culture, with a variety of shops and stores providing an interesting shopping experience.
In particular, try the Konya-style long Turkish pizza, pide. The cheese kebab is truly a work of art.

Alaaddin Hill Park
#springblossom The city of Konya has done impressive things with its green spaces and parks. In all honesty, the areas that border the tram throughout the city are some of the most beautiful that I've seen in the world. The city should be proud.A great place to sit amongst locals and sip çayi in one of the cafés. Well connected with a couple of tram stops and after tea you can head over to Kulture Park for amazing ice cream. I love the tulips.

🇹🇷The bustling Mevlana Plaza, Konya!🕌
#2024wish
In 2024, I would be so happy to visit Konya’s Mevlana Plaza again!! 🕌📜
Right beside the Mevlana Museum, it’s the perfect place to grab a meal and all the souvenirs you could want! 🥙🍶
On Mevlana Plaza stands one of Konya’s famous Mosques, Selemiye Camii, with plenty of space around it for crowds of local or tourists. 📸
Around the perimeter of the plaza lie plenty of restaurants, where you can try some of Konya’s local dishes! (swipe for photos!) 🤤
Also, you can buy souvenirs to commemorate your trip. Many of the souvenirs have pictures or quotes from Rumi (a local poet and philosopher, known by locals as “Mevlana”). 👳🏽♂️📜
I highly recommend Mevlana Plaza as a stop on your trip to Türkiye, and hope I can visit again in 2024! ♥️
