Kuwait: A Desert Gem with a Modern Soul
Kuwait may be small, but it’s full of big surprises. Start with the iconic Kuwait Towers, standing tall over the Arabian Gulf — a perfect spot for photos at sunset. Walk the Corniche and watch the city light up as the evening breeze kicks in.
Dive into culture at the Grand Mosque and explore the stories of pearl divers at the National Museum. Don’t miss Souq Al-Mubarakiya, where you can bargain for spices, perfumes, and taste traditional Kuwaiti snacks.
Need a breather? Al Shaheed Park is a calm escape with fountains and city views. For a modern twist, shop and dine at the massive Avenues Mall — it’s practically a city within a city.
Kuwait is where desert meets sea, tradition meets modern life — and it’s waiting to be discovered.

Romantic Insider Tip:
Book a hotel that does towel art! Walking into your room with two swan towels on the bed is unbeatable for honeymoon magic or anniversaries. Ask the staff kindly—hotels often love helping you set the scene.

Liverpool’s city center is walkable, but for farther spots, grab a day pass on Merseyrail (trains every few minutes) for stress-free travel.
Food Recs:
Don’t miss the iconic Scouse stew at The Philharmonic Dining Rooms (36 Hope St, L1 9BX). For a stylish dinner, try Maray on Bold Street—terrific veggie small plates.

Exploring the Vibrant Heart of Kuwait City
#holidayitinerary Wandering around Kuwait City in the Capital Governorate is a cool blend of tradition and modern life. The skyline is filled with shiny skyscrapers, while the streets below buzz with local markets, cafés, and people going about their day. It’s easy to feel the city’s energy without it being overwhelming.
I enjoyed walking along the Corniche, where you get great views of the Arabian Gulf and the iconic Kuwait Towers. The waterfront is a perfect spot to relax, watch the sunset, and soak in the local vibe. The Souq also caught my attention, it’s full of colorful shops selling everything from spices to souvenirs, and the hustle and bustle really add to the experience.
What makes Kuwait City special is how it mixes old and new so effortlessly. You can explore historic sites, modern malls, and peaceful parks all in one day. It’s a city that welcomes you with warmth and surprises around every corner.
