The cultural impact is just mind-blowing 🗿
The exhibition runs from May 18 to October 18 this year, so hurry up and go!
📍Capital Museum | 16 Fuxingmen Outer Street, Xicheng District, Beijing (near Baiyun Road)
The exhibits span three halls, each with its own theme and easy to navigate~ Today, let's start with Hall A on the basement level: The King's Treasure (Gold) 🌟
This hall is packed with treasures! Focusing on the Peruvian Andean civilization, the star is the tomb of the Lord of Sipán, unearthed in 1987. This guy held the triple roles of king, high priest, and warrior, and his burial goods include 452 gold, silver, and jade artifacts! It's just incredibly opulent 👑
The development of the Andean civilization is also clearly laid out: Cupisnique → Chavín → Moche → Wari → Sicán → Inca Empire. If you pay a little attention while viewing the exhibition, you can grasp the trajectory of this civilization's evolution 📜
