Luekerbad itself is not a big place. Even if you walk, you can visit the entire town's main streets, shops, attractions, etc. in less than 2 hours. There are only two larger supermarkets in the town. If you rent an apartment, these two supermarkets are the places to replenish supplies. In addition, there are many coffee shops and restaurants in the town, of course many of which are famous for Swiss cheese. Locals have earlier dinner time, so restaurants are generally open until around 8 to 9 pm. As restaurants close, The whole street became pitch black... Lavey-Les-Bains-If you live in the French Quarter, you might as well go to Lavey-Les-Bains and soak in the hot springs for 3 hours. Hot spring tickets can be bought at the train station. Just tell the staff where you want to go, and you can buy the train ticket and hot spring ticket together. We bought tickets for 3 hours. When you leave, the ticket will be checked. If the purchase time is exceeded, you can directly make up the money. When we bought it, it was 30 rupees for 3 hours, which was a very good deal. The scenery in the hot spring is really great. It feels like you are at the end of the world. You are not allowed to bring your mobile phone and cannot take pictures. You can experience it yourself. So Singapore is basically a permanent sauna, but somehow I flew all the way to Switzerland just to soak in 43°C water. Makes total sense. Leukerbad is this tiny, quiet town tucked inside the Alps. The vibes are immaculate. All these dark, aged wooden houses layered up the slopes. As a design student, the textures of the old timber against the bright white snow are just chef’s kiss. But the history is even cooler. Apparently, Roman soldiers used to soak here to heal their battle wounds. Then fast forward a few centuries, and you have Picasso, Mark Twain, and Queen Victoria chilling in the same waters. Such a random guest list honestly. We went to the Walliser Alpentherme. It’s wild. You’re floating in steaming hot mineral water while freezing alpine air hits your face, just staring at these massive snowy cliffs. Extreme temperature contrast is my new favourite aesthetic. They also do this floating breakfast thing. Champagne and pastries on a wooden board floating next to you in the pool. Super photogenic, but honestly I was just stressed about dropping my croissant into the hot spring. To get here, we took a train from Geneva to Leuk, then hopped on a bus for about 30 minutes up the winding mountain roads.

Last December i had the best trip in my life. Key highlight was my trip to Leukerbed, using the most seamless public transport in the world to reach there. We booked Le bristol that have the private hotspring, which we enjoyed it the most!! Leukerbad itself is also a very peaceful and quiet town that give different vibes to the tourist.
