JW Marriott Los Cabos Beach Resort & Spa is a stunning property. After getting a drink and a bar, we drove around and enjoy the art pieces they have in a public areas and great views of the ocean. Every restaurant has its own vibe and everything is thought through to the tiny details. There are lots of photo opportunities in this hotel. The staff is very friendly and we were very welcomed, even if we stated that we are coming just for a drink. The place was half empty, very relaxed and tranquil. It is quite a drive from Cabo San Lucas, but it's totally worth it. The drive starting past San Jose is beautiful. Playa Monumentos it's one of my favorite spots for sunset in Cabo San Lucas. It's a short drive from the town itself, the entrance is right next to The Cape, Thompson, Hotel and by Sunset MonaLisa restaurant. There's usually no people except for a few visitors of the Thompson, hotel and surfers. This place does not have any surfing rental facilities, and it is not for beginners- there are too many underwater rocks, so you need to know what are you doing on the board. But then because they're so few people and it's never crowded and because it's facing the sunset side - this speech is nearly impossible to beat for sunset, walks, and chilled evenings. One of the best beaches on the Pacific side in Los Cabos that can be accessed publicly is Diamante beach. It is a very long stretch of sand, that will take you hours to walk. If facing the ocean, you'll turn to the left and walk for about an hour - you'll reach the very end with stunning rock formations. The beach is open for public and there is a public parking 5-7 minutes away from the beach itself. A beautiful little city where celebrities have vacation homes. Shopping, Pharmacy, Boating, Glass Blowing and tequila tasting are some of the things we enjoyed. For the most part everyone follows Covid precautions, but no one was really enforcing it. That was concerning to me, but I wore a mask when inside any business. So many beautiful people and the waters were calm on this side of Mexico. I look forward to going back again. A wonderful excursion and learning about a new culture.
