Stayed at magnetic island, such a beautiful island. Lots of things to do. Hire cars are available also. The ferry ride over was calm and picturesque.

At first we took the ferry from Townsville to magnetic island around 9am and then it started to rain 😭😭😭 Fortunately, the rains stopped and we started with the Sunday market , butterfly walk - then to the fort. From the fort we walk a bit to see the Florence bay. On the way to the fort , we found one koala. Lucky that we can see on but it was sleeping. Haha After hiking, we were super tired so we headed back to horseshoe bay and have a lunch at noodies maxixan restaurant and it started to rain again. That’s how we end the trip. Definitely going back again for the rest of the island. There are so much to see. #townsville #travel #australia #queensland

Our stay was magnificent. Waterfront luxury, Free parking, free wifi , free toiletries refilled daily with room service! Pool with a view of the waterfront, sun lounge chairs around the pool, beach towels available for just $3.00 hires price or you can bring your own. Room service daily! Best week we had in a resort style.

Another attraction of Magnetic Island‼️ Wild wallabies🦘💕 At first, I couldn't find any, and half-giving up, thinking, "Oh, maybe I won't see one today...😢," I took a photo and waited for a while, when a couple passing by told me, "There it is!" and I discovered a wallaby sitting with its back to me👀! As I was taking pictures, the wallabies appeared one after another and started eating 🥕✨ When I pointed my camera at them, they glanced at me... they were so cute 💕 They don't come out much during the hot hours, so I recommend visiting in the evening 🌇 Please approach quietly and enjoy a relaxing wallaby time 🐾 📍 Rock Wallabies Spot (near Geoffrey Bay) #AroundTheWorld #Australia #MagneticIsland #WildWallaby _________ One of my favorite spots on Magnetic Island – the Rock Wallabies 🦘💕 At first, I couldn't find any and felt a bit sad... The main reason I came to Magnetic Island! To see wild koalas🌿✨ Because they are wild, whether you can meet them or not is really up to luck🍀 I heard that there is a high chance of meeting them on the hiking trail called "The Forts", so I set off right away👍 On the way, while walking while looking for koalas, I got the happy information from people passing by that "There was one up ahead!"👂✨ Furthermore, they told me, "There is an arrow made from a big tree branch, so use that as a landmark," and as I proceeded carefully... I found the arrow! On top of the tree up ahead, there was a koala! ! 🌳💤 It's fluffy and so cute! ! 😍 I'm so impressed that I can meet a wild koala so close, and for free😭💖 This trail is a luxurious route where you can enjoy not only koalas, but also rich nature, beautiful seascapes, and war ruins🌊🌿 The view from the top is truly spectacular! Super beautiful Sea & Bay The world war 2 forts is one of the must visit places. If you are not sure which hotel to choose, I would recommend the Pepper Blue on Blue! very convenient location and friendly customer service! #australiatrip A short kayak ride from the esplanade at Horseshoe Bay. Quiet little beach. Remains of the time when there was an oyster lease and shack erected. Reminders like a concrete slab, retaining walls and sandstone lined watercourse, just off the beach. Good place to get a tan. An absolute favourite of mine accessible only by boat. If you’re after serenity as the sun goes down you have to visit here.

#australiatrip Best beach of Magnetic Island. Would recommend parking at Henry Lawson Street or Dent Street to access via National Park entrance. The walk itself takes 30-40mins and is tranquil throughout. The beach is awesome as it's a nudist beach. Only thing is it can be known for Irukandji jellyfish especially between Dec to May. Besides that, one of the best spots to visit at Magnetic.

#australiatrip Beautiful sheltered bay, great snorkeling and swimming. Clear pristine beaches. On a calm day this is one of the most beautiful beaches I've been to and swimming there is a joy. Look out during stinger season and enjoy the abundance of fish and stingrays. Enjoy your swim when the water is clear and bring a mask and snorkel! Great view, good atmosphere, enough food options to stay a few days. Also good for a day trip

#australiatrip Beautiful small bay on Magnetic Island, with a small coral reef which is great for snorkeling over. Road in is pretty rough, so many people walk there from the Forts carpark and bus stop. Another jewel on Magnetic Island, accessible by foot or car. Crystal clear water and a good place to snorkel. Some days it's like having a private beach all to yourself. And don't forget a trip to the lookout for that special photo

We loved everything about our stay on Magnetic Island! The wildlife and fauna is amazing and the coolest thing to do on the island is to visit the Koala Sanctuary at Selina. The guide/ranger are very knowledgeable and you really get upclose with Koalas, Wombats and many other animals. Magnetic island is one of the best destinations in all of Queensland and maybe Australia as a whole. #islandtrip

The bike rental is currently not working as there are a lot of road works, but the bus is great too. We got off at the stop for the forts, did the walk, spotted three wild koalas and then walked to Florence bay and horse shoe bay. There were a lot of steps, but some great beauty to make it really worth the effort. After a great lunch we took the bus and got of at the rock wallaby stop and walked up to the point where we actually saw them too. Great day out!######
