Popular Ski Resorts: - Val Thorens: The highest altitude and largest resort, where I stayed. - Meribel: Centrally located, convenient, with affordable hotels. - Courchevel: A luxury resort with high-end brand stores and gourmet restaurants. Public Transportation: European trains and buses are convenient. Fly to Lyon, France, or Geneva, Switzerland, and take a ski bus to the hotels in Les 3 Vallées. Transfer at Moutier to reach each resort. Book Altibus tickets online in advance, with adult one-way fares starting at 60 euros. Val Thorens Hotel Recommendation: Hôtel Club MMV offers a week-long stay with early booking three months in advance. Three people can share two 15-square-meter rooms for 120 euros per person per night. The hotel includes breakfast and dinner, with drinks and snacks available to take back to your room.
