Mount Buller located in Victoria, Northern East from Melbourne, Australia. Our trip start at Melbourne taking a 5.30am tour bus ride from Federal Square to Mount Buller. It took almost 4 hours to reach Mount Buller. We stayed overnight at Victoria Skii Resort on Mount Buller. For first timer, please engage yourself with tour guide company where they manage booking of your ski item and couching lesson for ski or snowboarding. If you are planning yourself to overnight, i recommend you to take 2 days rental of your ski/snowboard/tobogganing because time between from 10am to 4pm, the place is still crowded. After 4pm, You can freely ski but there will be no supervision assistant. Lastly if you are overnight, wake up early next day and go to the summit of Mount Buller (you need to walk all the way up as the ski lift ride still only start operating at 10am) to catch the sunrise!!!

Mount Buller Visit It is snow season! Mount Buller is a beautiful mountain to visit if you want to see some snow or if you are a skiing lover! The hotel we stayed in is The Corner Hotel Alexandra. This is a good location to stay in if you are short on budget or if you plan your visit last minute! #skiadventure Lucky our destination Mt Buller is easily accessible from Melbourne. We had beginners to advanced in our group and all had a very enjoyable weekend. Would recommend a stay of at least 3 nights or more, to make the drive worthwhile. Me and my mates did a group lesson part of the deal get a beginner lesson and ski lift pass. The lesson was amazing everyone learnt how to snowbording and I was actually able to snowboard after even it is my 1st time. The experiance we had were so amazing. The resort has plenty of restaurants and cafes, but you will need to book ahead on Fri and Sat nights in peak season. There is also a supermarket near the village square .You can also bring your own food. Enjoyed the whole visit at Mt Buller the view was so spectacular and enjoy the weather. We you plan to go there it is encouraged to do an online bookings before coming as the savings were worth the effort and more seem less to book entrance and ski gear up on mountain. Only a couple hours drive from Melbourne what a great memories !
