#hellohalloween St. Kitts was one of those ports where everything feels easy the moment you step off the ship. The terminal opens straight into a lively shopping area full of music, bright colours, and friendly locals offering island tours. We decided to skip the excursions and just explore on foot, wandering through the streets of Basseterre and soaking up the laid-back Caribbean atmosphere. The town is compact and walkable, with a mix of colonial buildings, palm-lined squares, and little cafés serving cold drinks in the shade. Everywhere you go, there’s a view of green hills or the sea. Our favouritr stops included the black sand beach and the square in town with the fountain where we met a friendly monkey! It’s the perfect stop if you want a gentle day ashore — no rush, no schedule, just time to wander, take photos, and enjoy the rhythm of island life. #basseterre #stkitts
