Survival Trick: While standing there until our legs were stiff and we were starving, luckily we had bought some snacks in the zone beforehand. Eating while waiting saved our lives. I highly recommend grabbing some snacks before you join the queue 🍪. The area is decorated like a tropical jungle, which makes for some ruggedly cool and unique photos. Worth it?: 10/10! The coaster has tricks like "broken tracks" just like in the game. It’s thrilling, exciting, and absolutely worth the wait. Adventure seekers will love this. ………………………. 🏎️ Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge – Racing Like a Boss with the Single Rider Trick! For the top-tier ride at Bowser’s Castle, Mario Kart, the regular queue is massive. But I have a shortcut to recommend! ⚡ The Trick (Single Rider): If you want to focus on time or don't mind sitting apart from your group, head for the Single Rider lane! The line moves incredibly fast, saving you ages. You basically walk past the regular queue like a pro. 💨 The Fun: It’s an AR (Augmented Reality) experience where you wear a Mario hat and blast shells at opponents. It’s challenging and makes you feel like you're actually on the track. The suspense at the end to see your score is a real thrill 🏆. ………………………. 🥚 Yoshi’s Adventure – Skipping this one! 🙅‍♂️ Regarding the Yoshi zone (the little green dinosaur), I have to say, I skipped it entirely. Reasons: First, the queue is just as long as Mario Kart’s. Second, after seeing reviews and checking it out, the ride is more of a slow-moving scenic tour. The offseason visit was nice and calm, there were very few queues on the attractions, but there are also not many thrill rides, and no Halloween events, which we expected to be happening when we visited at the end of September. If you are visiting outside of holidays, and arrive early, you can visit most of the attractions before 2pm. The transformers rollercoaster is the same as the hulk coaster in Orlando, and the minions simulator is the same as the Osaka universal. The Harry Potter attractions are also repeated from both parks. The highlight of the attractions is in my opinion the Jurassic world ride, that has quality animatronics, and the kung fu panda area, that was indoors and small, but very well decorated

I've been to Universal 5 times. I never had the courage to ride the Decepticon coaster before, and opinions online were mixed. This time, I bought the Universal Express Pass and didn't want to waste it, so I just went for it. It was unexpectedly fun! I rode it twice, and if I hadn't run out of time, I would have queued for it a few more times! I really regret not riding it during my previous visits; I feel like I missed out on so much. As for thrill rides, I've only ever ridden TRON Lightcycle Power Run (not counting the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train or Flight of the Hippogriff, etc.), so I can only compare it to TRON. Also, I'm afraid of the sensation of weightlessness and have never ridden anything like a drop tower. 1. Launch: It's similar to TRON. You get launched with a "boom." It's just that one moment. If you've ridden TRON, this launch will be no problem at all. Even if you haven't, it's fine—it's over in 1 second. Before you even react, you're already in the next part, and it's not going that fast anymore. 2. Sensation of weightlessness: Because the Decepticon coaster has over-the-shoulder restraints and footrests, as long as you keep your back pressed against the seat, push your feet firmly against the footrests, and imagine yourself becoming one with the seat—pressing your body hard against the backrest—you will feel 0 weightlessness. Also, you might think you'll feel weightless on the first big hill after the launch, but it actually flips right after, and the feeling of weightlessness completely disappears. It's amazing. Compared to TRON, there is still some weightlessness when you go from the outdoor section to the indoor section on TRON. 3. The big loop: This is the least scary part. It might look terrifying when you're watching from below, but you don't really feel anything. It's very fun. With the over-the-shoulder restraints and your feet planted firmly, you won't feel a thing. Overall, if you're afraid of weightlessness, make sure to plant your feet firmly on the footrests, keep your back pressed against the seat, don't lower your head, and keep your head pressed against the backrest (that's the position in my photo). You won't feel much. The biggest sensation is just the launch, but that's only for a moment. Just close your eyes, and it's over. The rest of the ride isn't that fast. I think it looks scary from below, but it's actually fun once you're on it. The main thing is to overcome your own fear. Before I got on, I was so nervous I felt like throwing up and my hands were cold, but after I got off, I happily went to queue for it again.

Disney's Hollywood Studios truly deserves its spot on the Top 50 Best Things to Do in Orange County! I gave it a full 5 stars for being an outstanding park with plenty to keep everyone entertained, whether it’s your first visit or your hundredth. The environment is extremely comfortable—crowds are well managed, making it enjoyable in any season. The family-friendly vibe is spot on with abundant children’s activities and special events that make every visit memorable. Getting there is a breeze with convenient public transportation and reasonably priced parking. Service is top-notch with a helpful guide system and great multilingual support. The overall experience, from beautiful views to authentic attractions, is exceptional. This time, I visited as a solo traveller and loved returning to my favourite rides and attractions. It was a joy to roam at my own pace, uncovering hidden gems like Walt Disney Presents. Discovering an animator’s desk, original sketches, and park plans was a delightful surprise—something I had missed on previous visits! Tips for future visitors: Disney’s Hollywood Studios is fantastic at any time of day, so don’t worry too much about timing your trip. Going solo can be especially rewarding as you get to explore at your own pace and revisit the experiences you love most. The experience was amazing; the hotel staff, especially Ram Santos, Elisa, Harry, and Socrates, were incredibly accommodating. Our room was upgraded to a double bedroom with a balcony overlooking the pool. The highlight of the room was the spotless bathroom and toilet. The rates were reasonable, and the amenities were top-notch, including free Wi-Fi, an outdoor swimming pool, and a fitness area. Breakfast was delightful! Customer service arranging our SeaWorld trip was outstanding as well.
