We stopped by Niseko View Plaza on our way to Hilton Niseko Village, and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable rest stops on our Hokkaido trip. One thing we really appreciated was the local farmers’ corner inside the shop. It wasn’t just about fresh produce—the shop displayed the names of the farmers and even the locations of their farms. That level of transparency and connection to the land gave the experience a very authentic, local feel. We picked up some fruits knowing exactly where they came from. The whole place was spotlessly clean and well-organized, with ample parking and clean facilities. The backdrop of rolling hills and Mount Yotei made it even more scenic. Noboribetsu is a charming Japanese hot spring town that’s ideal for family vacations ♨️😊. They feature large communal baths and even private family baths, making it easy to relax. We stayed at a hot spring hotel by Lake Toya, where the view from the balcony showcased the stunning lake. Interestingly, this lake does not freeze even during Hokkaido's winter. At night, the hotel also hosts a fireworks display 🎆! Next, we visited Yotei Mountain Spring Water Park. Yotei Mountain resembles Mount Fuji and is incredibly beautiful, with snow rarely melting at its peak. At the park located at the foot of the mountain, we enjoyed drinking the naturally flowing spring water, which was pure and refreshing. This spring water has been selected as one of Japan's top 100 natural water sources. There's also a nice coffee shop nearby! Lake Shikotsu is Japan's second deepest lake after Lake Tazawa. It is also known as the coldest and northernmost lake in Japan that does not freeze.

The last time I played it at Shikicai-no-Oka. The driving method is the same and you can drive it without a license plate. Before driving, the instructor will introduce the basic operations of the snowmobile, such as pushing the accelerator to accelerate, brakes and safety gestures. It is very simple. Visitors who have never played it before just need to push the accelerator slowly. It is easy to get started. The snowmobile can only seat two people at most. ✨This route was originally one of the earliest routes opened in Hokkaido. I personally feel that this route is like hiking, because you need to drive from the foot of the mountain to a height of about halfway up the mountain. ✨️The team of powered sled drivers, led by a local coach, set off slowly up the dark slope and around different bends and sharp turns, just like driving on the mountain. Mount Yotei is really pretty in all season! And if you are wondering where you can get a good view of it and enjoy some good food, you need to come to Niseko view park! In spring you see some cherry blossom trees and remember to try the soft serve from Takahashi Farm! Many locals buy it and I followed suit. Good decision because it was soo good.
