It was a short journey (15 to 20 minutes from Anmon Resort. The 45 minutes bintan green mangrove tour offers a captivating nature experience within Bintan's lush mangrove forests. Navigate the River to appreciate the diverse plant and animal life. There will be a guide and a person who will be driving the boat, they will share their knowledge about the formation and vital role of mangrove trees in preserving clean water. These mangroves harbor intriguing wildlife, including shy creatures like monkeys, monitor lizards, and mangrove snakes. Lucky observers might spot snakes resting above the tree branches or monkeys swinging through trees. The riverbed can be spotted with marine life, such as mudskippers, crabs, mud lobsters, snails, and clams. Towards the river's end, you will learn about the practical uses of mangrove plants, like crafting hats and making into shirts material. There will also be some kelpngs known as Orang Lauts, living in stilt-built homes. You can also see static fishing traps used by fishermen to secure their daily catches along the river. There were also free coconut (to be pluck from their tree on the spot) and also a small river swing for good photo taking and experience shoot. #bintantrip It was a good tour! The guide was very friendly and had great service. The boat captain was good too. He helped spot the catsnakes and other wildlife. They also offered drinks at the end of the trip. The only thig I didn't like was seeing the malayan box turtles in the fish tank. Hopefully they can be released to their natural habitat or live in a pond. Come and visit

#cherryblossom2024 In Bintan, you will not want to miss their Bintan Mangrove tour which is held not in the day but at night! This tour is super fascinating as you get to escape the hot heat in the day and enjoy nature under the moon and stars. The tour starts by an introduction as to what to expect and see during the mangrove tour and we are accompanied by a personal guide as well. You will be led out to the river on a motor boat and be close to nature in the dark. It's a special and different kind of tour experience. If you're lucky, you may even spot beautiful fireflies, which we did. The tour ended with a refreshing drink and cold towels to clean up. Just amazing.
