#japantrip A popular upstairs coffee shop in Kobe🏠 I was constantly burned by this shop while doing data collection💻 Walk through the narrow alley to the second floor and push the door in 🚶🏻♂️ The entire shop from the floor and ceiling to the tables and chairs is old wood construction🪑 Under dim light💡 The wood grain seems to tell the age of this shop🪵 The window seat faces the small street of Sannomiya👀 In addition to the sunshine, you can also see the activities of passers-by ☀️ Desserts and coffee are served here😍 The menu is hand-drawn by the owner. Every page is beautiful📋 Even the cups and plates are designed by the owner himself with the same painting style 👩🏻🎨 The coffee uses Horiguchi coffee beans from Tokyo, which are more nutty🫘 Just right with the signature cheesecake 🧀🍰 There is also Keshipearl's No. 2 store on the 9th floor of the same building🏢 There is also shop No. 3 at Kobe Station #foodie #food

Located next to the sanommiya station this place was one of our best finds. We were put up only two blocks from here so it needed no extra effort. During a two night stay, we ended up eating here thrice and that too mostly varieties of Cheesecake. There is something so different about this place. Same can be said about whole of Japan but this was the quietest of places I visited. And they had all.these books that Japanese customers looked into. I went to CAFE KESHiPEARL, a small cafe located in Isogai, Sannomiya, Kobe. This cafe, which boasts cheesecake and coffee, is located on the second floor of a building. After climbing the stairs and opening the door, a calm and warm space spreads out before you. I was alone so I went to the counter. There are menus for cheesecake and coffee, each with an explanation of their special features and flavors accompanied by cute illustrations. I ordered the signature menu item, the marriage set. When you choose your favorite cheesecake, the staff will set you a black coffee recommended to go with it. The coffee was delicious!
