Armed Forces Cathedral | Russian-style aesthetic ceiling
The Russian Armed Forces Cathedral is a large Orthodox church located in the Patriot Park on the outskirts of Moscow. It was built to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the victory of the Great Patriotic War. It symbolizes the connection between the army and the Orthodox Church and spiritual traditions, and is both sacred and majestic.
Although it is in the suburbs and transportation is inconvenient, the mosaic murals on military history themes inside the church are breathtaking. Friends in Moscow must not miss it, it is really worth it‼ ️‼ ️
🚇Public route:
1️⃣ Take Metro Line 3 to Park Pobedy, exit at Exit 2, transfer to bus 442 to КПП (cash 100 rubles/person), then take a taxi to the church, about 1,000 rubles, and it takes 1.5 hours.
2️⃣ Take the elevator behind the Victory Mother Statue, go out from the exit, take bus 75 to Станция Голицыно, change to the train to Slavyansky Bulvar, and then take Metro Line 3 back to the city. It takes 2 hours.
🚗Taxi route (recommended‼️):
