The aerial view is extremely spectacular! "Jilin City Tour" will push the rime index of the day at around 5:30 am. If it reaches 3 stars or more, you can rush over without hesitation. The fog here is heavy around sunrise, and it starts to dissipate gradually after 8 am. 📍 Changbai Mountain Huamei Resort You can ski here and soak in the outdoor hot springs with a snowy view. Recently, there has been a nationwide high-temperature warning, making it impossible to take kids outdoors in Beijing. So, I immediately bought plane tickets and took the whole family directly to Changbai Mountain to experience the legendary 22-degree summer. After a few days, I found that off-season travel to Changbai Mountain is truly amazing! Here are some tips from my three-night summer trip to Changbai Mountain with kids: ☀️ Weather During the summer, the daytime temperature in Changbai Mountain is generally around 28-30 degrees, dry and not sticky. At night, it drops to around 20 degrees, which is a bit cool. For clothing, I recommend short sleeves, shorts, and sun-protective clothing during the day, and long pants and jackets at night. Also, make sure to protect yourself from the sun during the day and carry mosquito repellent spray. 🎡 Resort Area: We chose between Changbai Mountain Huamei Resort and Wanda Resort. Considering that we wanted our kids to have more engagement, we chose Huamei Resort, formerly known as Luneng Resort. After all, this resort is larger, has better scenery, and offers many activities for kids. 🏨 Accommodation: There are many hotels in Huamei Resort. We stayed at the Meilihui Hotel (soon to be renamed "Changbai Mountain Haolike Hotel"). The cost-performance ratio is excellent; you can stay in a suite for just 1000 yuan! Downstairs is a commercial street and Xingqibao Baby Park, making it the first choice for family trips. 🤡 Entertainment: ⭐️ Kuilu Farm 1️⃣ During the day, kids can feed deer and other animals at YOYO Deer Park, then jump on the cloud trampoline or climbing frame. Adults can enjoy a cup of coffee under the camping tent, feeling the cool 22-degree mountain breeze of Changbai Mountain. 2️⃣ Every night, there is an intangible cultural heritage iron flower performance and a bonfire party. You can try some local specialty restaurants like Boxing Sheep Craft Beer Hall, Wula Manchu Hot Pot, and Zantunzi Guotai Fish. After experiencing it, I found that the summer in Changbai Mountain is full of surprises. With the continuous high-temperature warnings nationwide, I recommend everyone to come here for off-season travel!

A little potato from the south has come to the great northeast again! Today, I flew directly from Shanghai to Changbai Mountain in Jilin. I landed at the airport at noon and could go skiing in the afternoon. Although it's minus ten degrees, the sun is warm and I don't feel cold at all.
