I made a reservation for the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka about a month before! It's very popular and you can't get in without a reservation, so please make a reservation in advance on the website 🙆 It was a facility that conveyed the production process of Ghibli works, the difficulty of making movie animations, and the passion of the creators! I was really impressed by how amazing the creators were when they drew animations by hand... I'm also a designer, so I'm grateful for my current environment and I feel like I'll keep working hard! ✨ Most of the exhibits are indoors, so you can enjoy it even on rainy days! The realistic production room with attention to detail is a must-see! Kichijoji was selected as the #1 neighborhood in Tokyo where people want to live, so there are many cute shopping streets, and vintage clothing stores, restaurants, and cafes! I highly recommend it as a one-day date course! #JapanTravel

About half an hour train ride from Shinjuku, Tokyo Japan. We took a visit to Kichijōji, a more neighbourly area within Tokyo. In the area is a beautiful park that would take you away from the city like area. The path goes around their large lake, there are multiple bridges within which you can take a nice walk around. Take a walk around their national park with a swan deck or to their Aquatic Life House with regional reptiles. We sat next to the lake after grabbing a nice cold bottle of tea from their vending machines. Listened to nature for a while. Then we went to their temple inside of the park named Inokashira Benzaiten; it is an iconic shrine within the park where you bless for money. The interesting part is to take out our money, put it into a basket and wash it in their shrine water. If you’ve got the time, you can walk a little further to visit the park zoo and the Ghibli Museum.

While looking around the museum, the sounds of nature and sunlight blended with the artwork, making it feel like I was in another world. I couldn't help but be amazed when I saw that the works of Studio Ghibli were actually handcrafted. 🌿🎨 You can't take pictures inside, but the interior was really beautiful! 🎥 Secrets of Animation There was also an exhibition where you could get a glimpse into Studio Ghibli's animation process. Drawings, models, and storyboards were on display, allowing you to learn how movies are made. I was really impressed by the passion and effort of representative directors like Hiroshima Kamiya. 📽️🎬 🌌 A World of Fantasy The Mitaka Museum made me feel like I was in a Ghibli movie.
