One of the most rare and precious landscapes in Waseda is the more than 400 shallow ponds scattered throughout the area, where rare wetland plants such as lotus and yellow sedge grow, forming a stunningly beautiful scenery. The entire area has been designated as a special natural monument. The entire National Park can be roughly divided into three areas: the "Osawa area" with vast wetlands such as Osawa Hara and Osawa Numa, as well as famous peaks such as Foshan and Suigaku; the "Aizu-Jukai area" where you can see the blooming of the Shirakami cherry blossoms all over the wetlands near the summit of Mt.
