Izu, a beautiful island in Shizuoka 🇯🇵✨
Izu island in Shizuoka is a must for sushi lovers and nature enthusiasts. Its mountains and plateaus are also major draws for adventure hikers and nature lovers. The peak time to travel to Izu is in the summer from mid-June to late September.
I went there in September, the weather wasn’t that good but I really enjoyed the time there. Sitting on the rock watching the sunset, eating delicious seafood dishes, waking up early to go to the beach when there was nobody there, booking a hotel with a great view of the sea, wandering around the Omura yama mountain while it was being covered by thick fog and then watching its beauty after all the fog was gone, all of these things made it an unforgettable trip.
Izu is very easy to accessible from Tokyo, so if you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city for 1-2 days, or suddenly you miss the sea, Izu is probably a great choice😊

| Izu Peninsula (1696). The Izu Peninsula, located to the south of Tokyo and part of Shizuoka Prefecture, is a scenic tourist destination in Japan's Kanto region. The Fuji volcanic belt runs through the Izu Peninsula from north to south, resulting in numerous hot springs, for which the peninsula is famous, along with its seaside views. The Izu Peninsula offers a combination of natural beauty and cultural charm, attracting many great literary figures to stay, and is widely known for 'The Dancing Girl of Izu,' the famous work by Nobel laureate Yasunari Kawabata.

The most beautiful cherry blossoms in eastern Shizuoka are all here (from late March to early April)
Eastern Shizuoka, Izu Peninsula,
as if you were in an ocean of cherry blossoms, with pink petals fluttering down, picturesque and poetic.
As the spring breeze passes, under the cherry trees, a romantic pink is left behind. A gentle breeze stirs, and amidst the cherry blossom rain, it's like a dreamy fairyland.
Immersed in it, the soul is purified, forgetting the troubles and disturbances of the mundane world. Each cherry blossom is a masterpiece of nature, each view a gift from the great outdoors. In this ocean of cherry blossoms, let your heart drift with the wind,
and in the fragrance of the flowers, appreciate the beauty and brevity of life. Listen quietly,
to the blossoming and falling of the flowers, feel the passage of time, and taste the cycle of life.
The Izu Peninsula, where the cherry blossoms bloom, is the yearning for the beauty of the soul, and also a portrayal of life in full bloom.

Shuzenji is located in the hinterland of the Izu Peninsula, surrounded by dense forests and clear streams. Its history can be traced back to 737, when it was established as a spiritual place for the Shingon sect of Buddhism. A trip to the beach after work.
At this beach in Izu, the sea is very clean and the sky is also very blue. I hope that next time I travel alone, I can bring my special someone to play together and take a romantic stroll along the beach. This time, I came to play with my colleagues while working and traveling at the same time. It's really relaxing and quite nice. I'm very happy and I hope for good luck 🍀 in my work as well!
