Kobe is a port city with vibrant culture☺️ It is a stylish city in Western Japan. It is very popular for its Kobe beef and for shopping along its port. It is located across the bay from Osaka, and the capital city of Hyogo prefecture. We went to Kobe Oji Zoo and the bay area. There are many kinds of animals. The site is huge and the admission fee is cheap! It's on par with Ueno Zoo! I wasn't able to see the pandas this time, but I was still satisfied. I think it's a historic zoo that is loved by many locals, and I was comforted by both the animals and the people♪ There was also a retro amusement park.

Kobe Oji Zoo is a zoo near residential area which are easily reached by Hankyu Line train and get off in Oji Station. We were in Kobe mid week and decided to head to the zoo to see Tan Tan the panda. There was no waiting to get in or to see the exhibits, there were a lot of school children on an excursion but other than that it was just about ours. Yes it’s a little dated but who cares the animals are there to see. I loved that with some animals there was a chance to see where they slept incase they weren’t out. It was an enjoyable day and if your visiting Kobe and looking for something to do this could be something. #givethanks #givethanks

You can take a bus to a nearby spot and then walk to the tunnel. The entire road is lined with cherry blossoms. Be careful when taking photos, as cars will pass through the tunnel. At first, I thought I was blocking someone’s way because a car stopped for a while at the top, and I tried to step aside, almost pressing against the wall. But then I noticed the driver was taking photos with an Olympus film camera. It turns out, nobody can resist a spring tunnel with half cherry blossoms and half the sea! 🌸🌊 🦁 Kobe Oji Zoo A hidden gem! There were hardly any visitors when I arrived around noon, only a few kindergarten teachers playing with their kids. I casually found a cherry blossom tree, set up my tripod, and slowly took photos. This zoo has many cherry trees that are fully bloomed and hang low, so you can freely take pictures without worrying about disturbing others. 🎨 Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art Designed by the famous architect Tadao Ando! I only visited the free regular exhibition, where you can learn about Ando’s design philosophy and background. If you’re into architecture or design, you absolutely cannot miss this! In the amusement park, several mountings are counted by another tickets, cost 1000 yen for 10 tickets. #gw2022jp An amusement park inside Kobe City Oji Zoo♪ If you go straight through the main entrance, you will see the amusement park. It has a retro atmosphere, and there are rides that even small children can ride, as well as a game center, so you can enjoy it. I bought the ride tickets from the vending machine.
