#cherryblossom25 Mobara Park has this effortless beauty to it. It’s big enough to explore but small enough to feel cozy — perfect for a half-day trip if you’re in Chiba. The sakura trees line the central pond, and during peak bloom, the reflections are unreal. I came in the early afternoon, grabbed a bento from a convenience store, and had a relaxed hanami picnic under one of the biggest cherry trees I’ve seen. Families and older couples were out with tarps and snacks, and the whole scene felt warm and community-driven. There’s also a gorgeous weeping cherry tree by the water that draws a small crowd, but not in an overwhelming way. I shot a timelapse of the petals drifting into the pond and posted it with #cherryblossom25 — easily one of the most peaceful clips I’ve made. Mobara Park is a quiet win and a perfect place to just slow down and feel the season.

#2024wish Extremely nice park to watch cherry blossoms. There are public restrooms & the area is close to a shopping mall so you can buy food to bring. The lake also looks great. I didn’t see any fish but I saw turtles in there. They pathway is also baby friendly. Most parts of the park you can bring a baby stroller. There’s also a large jungle gym playground area for your kids. On the weekends there’s sometime an event with food shops & performers. Even though parking lot was full the park wasn’t so congested. I wish you travel more in 2024

Hattori Farm Hydrangea House I always visit Hattori Farm every June. This is the mountain behind a private home, and it seems to be open to the public during this season. There are so many colorful hydrangeas planted that you'll wonder if you're going to see them! There is a small Inari shrine, and you can walk around the whole area in about 30 minutes. It's truly spectacular! When I think of going to see hydrangeas, this is the first place I think of. It's quite steep, so some parts are closed on rainy days. Some people force their way through at their own risk. It's a small mountain, but it's safer to wear sneakers. Perhaps because it's become famous, I've noticed people pushing hydrangea flowers towards themselves or going into the flowers to take photos.
