Laguna 69 from Huaraz is must to do
I booked a tour from Huaraz, the bus picked me up from my accommodation at 5:30am and headed to the start point of 7km trekking.
On the way to there, we had a breakfast and toIlet stop and started trekking around 9am.
First half is easy pass with wide peaceful view, second half is getting hard as the altitude is over 4000m. Everyone keep going forward little by little slowly. After about 3hrs walkIng, we were able to see stunning colour of the lake 6
It will be an amazing and brilliant experience after hard efforts.
I had some snacks and fruits by the lake, enjoyed the sceanaly for an hour then got to the way back.
Return was much quicker and easier.
The bus runs on very rough road, so its hard to say it's comfortable riding, but we can't find this great experience without that.
If you stay In Huaraz, this is a must to do

Trekking in Laguna 69
I went trekking at Laguna 69 in Huascaran National Park, Peru.
It takes about three hours by bus from the town of Huaraz to reach the entrance to the Laguna 69 trek.
The trekking takes about three hours one way.
Along the way, there are rivers, cows, and the scenery surrounded by mountains is beautiful, so it's a fun walk.
Laguna 69 is a light blue lake made from dissolved limestone, and it is beautiful surrounded by mountains.
It is quite high up, so be careful of altitude sickness.

Laguna69, a great choice for a day hike in northern Peru!
If you go to Peru and want to explore some special attractions besides Machu Picchu, the Nazca Lines, the Amazon Rainforest, etc., I recommend Huaraz, a city popular for hiking in the north of Lima. One of the classic hiking routes for a one-day tour, Laguna 69, is really as beautiful as its reputation!

69 Lakes in the Magnificent Alpine Region
I went trekking to the 69 lakes in Peru!
They say it's one of the hardest treks in South America
It's definitely hard to climb up because it's a 4600m high altitude
But once you get there, there's a huge lake waiting for you, so I recommend going at least once!
