The scroll was created by Lü Jiren (Shanghai) from March 2000 to November 2003 using the meticulous and colorful painting technique. Playful Ink' exhibition brings together ink opera paintings by artists such as Guan Liang, Ding Liren, Han Yu, Nie Ganyin, and Zhu Zhengeng. They use opera as a bridge and the character designs on stage as blueprints, employing various techniques such as freehand, abstract, and intentional expression to perfectly combine the tension of drama with the connotations of ink painting, condensing the essence of the stage onto the canvas.
