The bathroom is a shared room, separated for men and women. The common area has a table for sitting and working, a TV to watch, and board games to play. -AMPAWAN HOUSE (399.59 baht) is a guesthouse. I chose an air-conditioned room but there was also a fan. The bed was okay. There was a sitting area in front of the room. The location is good in the alley between Thapae Walking Street. -OYO 1096 Winner Inn Hotel (486.07 baht) The room is not very large. It is clean. There is no hair dryer, everyone. And the staff is good. - Phu Khao Hostel (709.02 baht) Booked a single room with a private bathroom. The room is not very big. Good location near Tha Pae Walking Street. - The Core Gallery Hotel (884.64 baht) Clean room, good location, there is a market nearby, parking available. The room has a very soft big bed, lots of pillows, a large bathroom, the view from the balcony is a mountain view. My favorite hostel in Chiang Mai. Hygienic, cleaned every day. The staff is very attentive and always trying to help. The price you pay includes breakfast. You can get up between 7-10 in the morning and prepare your own breakfast. There is no limit. You can eat as much as you want. As long as you clean the dirty materials. There is hot water all hours of the day, you can make coffee. I think you can use the kitchen at other times of the day. It is useful to go a little early for breakfast because some days the rice was finished when I arrived. There is hot water in the showers. Showers and toilets are a bit small. This may be one of the bad aspects of the hotel. Total 9 floors in the hotel. You can get free bicycles from the reception. If you rent a motor, there is an area where you can park the motor in front of the hotel. You can choose this place without thinking. There are both shared room and private room options. The location is partially central. Walking distance to the night market and entertainment venues. Another problem of the hotel is that the arrivals do not stay much, meeting someone can be a problem. You can meet someone downstairs or there are sitting areas on some floors where you can meet someone. Not like other social hostels. It is a little calmer here. My second time staying in a hostel. This time I got it for 254฿. I got to sleep on the upper floor. It was a really scary experience. 😂 The accommodation was very clean. The bathroom had a shower gel and a really good hair dryer. And what was amazing was that they also provided breakfast. When I sleep in a hostel, one thing that I really care about is the blanket. Here, they provide a thick white blanket like in a normal hotel. It's really good. It's big too. You don't have to worry about the cold. This place is called “Loyy Hotel”, it is both a hostel and a hotel, with 8 floors in total. 🏨We stayed in the hostel style, which is a bunk bed like a dormitory. You can choose a female-only or mixed room. I like the bed here because it has space to put your stuff. The bed is wide and high, making it comfortable to get up and sit without hitting your head. 🏨This place seems to be designed to meet the needs of backpackers or people who want to stay long-term because they have complete facilities. I have never seen anything like this anywhere else. Each floor has a common area outside, and on the 1st floor there is a very large common area where you can work, watch TV, have a kitchen, cook your own food, have a laundry room, iron, and free bicycles to borrow (300 baht deposit). 🏨Most importantly, it is clean, new, and looks like it was designed with care. The location is also great. You can ride a bicycle to Tha Phae Gate, Khua Lek, Waroros Market, and Khlong Mae Kha. The hotel is right across from the entrance to Wat Loi Kroh.
