[Female solo travel in Phuket] Harry Potter!? A cliffside cafe!? Tom yum ice cream!?
There are many stylish cafes in Phuket. This time, we will introduce cafes with unique concepts that you won't find in Japan!
[1. Mad Hog Tavern (Mad Hog Phuket)]
A unique concept cafe with a Harry Potter motif. When you go at night, the interior is dark and atmospheric. The display window is decorated with brooms, shrunken heads, and pixies, and the exterior looks like a bar that you would find in Diagon Alley. The ceiling inside is higher than you would expect, and the atmosphere is good.
The butter beer I was looking for was 135 baht, cheaper than drinking it at USJ. It has something like frothed milk foam on top, and it's smooth on the palate. The liquid part is fizzy and sweet and sour, making it easy to drink.
The quantity is large and it looks good, so if you're a Harry Potter fan, it's definitely worth coming!
[2. Blanket & Pillow]
The atmosphere is just the best. It's deep in the mountains, so you need a car, but it's worth going.
It's the type of restaurant where you order and pay first, and then find a seat.
This time, I chose chai tea with lemon syrup from the signature menu. The drink was ready quickly, so there was little waiting time.
It's like it's on a cliff, so the stairs are quite steep, but the lower you go, the closer you get to the sea.
All the seats have a great view, and it's the best chill spot to relax!
[3.Garang artisan icecream karon]
A delicious ice cream shop! This was my favorite ice cream I had in Phuket. There was a wide variety, including tom yum goong ice cream! I didn't have the courage, so I had a double serving of coconut milk and Thai milk tea, and both had a rich, sticky texture and were very delicious. The coconut milk in particular had coconut grains in it, and it had a luxurious taste.
They also had sundaes and bread, and the interior was open and seemed like it would be good for a cafe. I'd like to try more flavors!
I recommend all of them, so if you go to Phuket, please go there!
