💡Notes: After transferring from Tokyo to Hokkaido by domestic flight, I spent 12 days there, and it can only be described as exciting, exhilarating, and satisfying! Plus, skiing was a new experience! It is highly recommended to ski in Hokkaido during winter! The attractions in Biei are quite beautiful, and the snowy scenery has a unique charm! However, I strongly recommend self-driving (unless there is a severe snowstorm warning) because the public transportation between attractions is too sparse, and self-driving can save a lot of time! As for food in Sapporo, you must have a crab feast! This time, I tried Crab General, and it was excellent! The service was good, and the taste was top-notch. The crabs in Hokkaido are very fresh and sweet! Moreover, the cost performance is quite high. The last attraction I visited was Lake Shikotsu near Chitose City to see the Ice Waterfall Festival (note that it is only held for about half a month in February each year). Although the place is not very big, the ice made from lake water is very blue, beautiful, and clean. At night, colorful lights illuminate the ice at the venue! It is a highly recommended winter activity!
