#SeasonalEvent I went on a family trip to Okinawa from March 27th to 30th. We went to the Ryukyu Lantern Festival at Murasaki Mura, which was happening at the time. After looking at the beautiful lanterns, we also enjoyed the projection mapping. It was so beautiful and moving. I'm really glad we went.

Hotel Sunset ZANPA is located near tourist attractions such as Yomitan Village, Cape Zanpa, Okashi Goten Main Shop, and Murasakimura. An unpretentious apartment hotel with a simple interior. You can choose a room that suits your style of stay. [1st and 2nd floors] Equipped with a 2-burner kitchen, pots, frying pans, microwave, and toaster. For those who want to cook in their room. [3rd and 4th floors] Only a microwave. For those who eat out or warm up food they buy in their room. For those who want to enjoy the view in their room. Common facilities include a refrigerator, electric kettle, and tableware. We only stayed there to sleep, so we stayed in a room on the 3rd floor. We were able to sleep soundly in a relaxing space that felt like home. The next morning, we went up to the rooftop and saw an even more spectacular view. The only drawback is that there is no elevator. You have to carry your heavy luggage yourself. But if you want to keep costs down, the location is not bad so it's a good choice. There are lanterns with different themes in the evening, the place is not very big however you can also take a look, especially suitable for families with children to visit, you can also hand make lanterns and then write the words of blessing. There is also a performer live for a performance, and there is also a Projecton show at 1900 pm, which is about 20 minutes or so. Free parking, if visiting during the day when there is also a buffet provided next to it.

Stayed at Murasaki Mura, the Kingdom of Experiences 🌺 It seems that the facility built for the taiga drama has been turned into a hotel and experience facility 🏨 There are many tourist spots nearby, such as the beach and Zakimi Castle, so it was nice to be able to go out as soon as I woke up! We made chinsuko and brown sugar! Everything was fresh and fun💗💗 Admission fee: 600 yen for adults We went late, so we could only do these two things, but it was a big place that you could spend a whole day there! I think it's a facility that everyone from small children to adults can enjoy! Wherever we went there were so many photogenic spots that we took loads of photos. However, the projection mapping wasn't particularly exciting and I didn't really understand what it meant, so I decided it wasn't really worth going out of your way to see. The entire spacious grounds are decorated with Chinese lanterns, lantern objects, and washi paper lanterns. It's said to be a reproduction of the glamorous townscape of the Ryukyu Dynasty in the 14th and 15th centuries, but it somehow has a Taiwanese feel to it. Projection mapping was shown at the Ryukyu Butokuden at 7pm, 8pm, and 9pm, and the projection mapping images and music under the starry sky were truly wonderful. #0yentrip

#okinawatrip We visited the Ryukyu Lantern Festival and Murasaki Mura in evening. It was a beautiful evening to walk around and take in all the beautiful light. The grounds were well-kept, and the compound quiet and laid-back. Multiple vendors, and all super friendly. We availed ourselves of snacks from several different vendors, all were delicious! I highly recommend this if you’re looking for a peaceful and calming experience.
