Getting Around Berlin Hamburg Bahnhof Museum of Contemporary Art
The Hamburg Bahnhof Museum was named after the train station building heading from Berlin to Hamburg.
When I came to Germany four years ago, I thought it was in Hamburg just from the name, but when I went to Hamburg, I looked for it and found that it was actually near Berlin Central Station. 💦
The station building alone is large, but the garage is also an exhibition room, so the exhibition space in this vast building has a floor area of 7,000 to 10,000 m2.
The station building space was being prepared for the next exhibition, but I enjoyed a wide variety of contemporary art, including other exhibitions and permanent exhibitions.
I thought I had finished looking at everything, but when I left, I found a different exhibition space from the outside, so I hurried back and spent about three and a half hours looking at everything at my leisure.
The museum has a high-ceilinged, open-air cafe and restaurant, and the outdoor terrace is also nice. ♪
In Berlin, I did research for work, so I went around museums and galleries, took a break along the way to write a report, and then went around again. Traveling by train, bus, and on foot through the vast expanse of Berlin, a day passes in the blink of an eye.
